Previously 5 stars, however since it's no longer operated by North Brewing it's just not as good, no Sputnik or any of the other different North Brewing beers and guest beers are very hit and miss, I often can't find any beer here that I actually like. They've even removed the chalk board now and have reduced the selection of beers. Attracts quite an old crowd and can get really noisy in here on a weekend when lots of groups of people are in all shouting louder and louder to try and make themselves heard. Absolute little gem of a bar in Oakwood. We make a frequent pilgrimage from Chapel Alleton via the Gledhow Woods to enjoy a beer or two.

It's very dog friendly and the beers are excellent (the Sputnik IPA is soo good!). It usually gets very busy so you might have a bit of a wait to get a table, but it's worth it!

Great bar with fantastic selection of booze. Staff are really friendly and anywhere that does table service should get more love I think. It's at it's best when people bring their awesome dogs with them. Although during weekend days you do get lots of toddlers in there running around with parents chasing after them which is a real pain as it's not the best place for that.
