This has got to be my favourite tea-room, it's just amazing, I go in here as often as I can, i used to be more often, but I'm disabled now so does get out as much. But I do like to make sure I get there when I can. The food is so good,. I've never had anything in haven't liked. Everything is made fresh and tastes delicious, and there's so much choice, it's very hard to decide what to have. Thren there's the cakes WOW, there out of this world, so tasty, you just have to have one. Then there's the staff what s lovely set of people, there so friendly and accommodating. I like them all. The owner Julie, is such a lovely lady, she's so nice to everyone, she never rushes anybody, she make' s time to talk to everyone too. Like I said before I love going here and they couldn't accommodate me more then they do, it's only a small tea-room , but they make sure I can get in, even though I'm disabled, they make sure I'm comfortable. I have to give Olde Booths Tea-room. 10/10 for everything. I can't recommend this Tea-room enough. 100% for everything....
Read moreFirst impression... friendly and neighbourhoodly cafe with good prices and nice food.... but you can outstay your welcome. I first ordered a coffee only and been told I cannot stay unless I order food to which I responded I will do a little later. I was made felt unwelcome and pushed towards leaving. My table had a reservation card for 1pm (I was there at 9am), then a new card for 10.45am and a 'gentle' reminder in form of receipt put on my table. Whereas other 1pm resevration tables were still free. I said I'd like to order another drink, and been told my order is not good for business as tables can bring up to £30-40 per table. There were several free tables, and other regular clients sitting in reading newspapers etc. It seems a shame as it's a lovely spot but somehow I was felt unwelcome to stay and had to go elsewhere to get my second drink - 'supporting buisness' elsewhere. I won't be recommending this place, suppose that's not good for business...

I booked my table and advised one of the places was for a nearly 2 year old! Well when I arrived my daughter was tired, but also somewhere new so wanted to walk around!
The staff were absolutely amazing!! They gave my daughter fun things to do to keep her distracted! I wasn’t expecting anything, but they went above and beyond with the things they did/provided whilst I ate their amazing jacket potato (which I have been wanting for AGES).
Even when my daughter decided to cause a little chaos, the staff were so lovely and it made a stressed mum feel very relaxed and grateful!
I have been previously (had a little baby shower/afternoon tea), we’ve had their “special” hot chocolates on Halloween and Christmas and they do not disappoint 😍
My mum basically bought half of their items they sell in store too! I must admit they are lovely and great prices.
I can’t wait to go back and...
