£49.50 for a mediocre meal. Sweet and sour tofu carton - filled up the portion with lots and lots of sauce to save using much tofu and veg (there was literally two small pieces of green bell pepper for the 'veg' part.). Asked specifically for vegetable spring rolls because more often than not I'm given meat spring rolls when ordering from Chineses, lo-and-behold the spring rolls had meat in. Rang up the takeaway and they insisted they were vegetables. I've never tasted any meaty vegetables, nor seen any vegetables that are small pinky-white strips. They then claimed that I must have been tasting the potato. (A- I've never known any vegetable spring rolls to be filled with potato, and B- what potatoes are they buying that look and taste like meat 😂😂😂). Insisted they were vegetables and refused to bring any more or a refund. Rest of the family's verdict: the dumplings were just empty parcels, prawn toast was just fried bread, extra extra spicy Singapore fried rice was very much a mild rice, special in oyster sauce had two tiny prawns in, spare-ribs looked like someone had already munched the meat off. Long story short, that £49.50 could have been spent somewhere much more worthwhile, but at least we qualified for a "free...

Canton House is by far the best Chinese takeaway around. Their food is a absolutely delicious, my favourite being the crispy chicken in OK sauce with salt and pepper chips and a side of wontons (yum). The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Their delivery service is prompt and the food is always hot. The staff are always polite, both on the phone and in person. The only reason I am docking a star is because they don't take card payments - only cash! I don't carry cash on me much so its a bit of a pain having to treck to a cash l point when I wanna eat from the tastiest...

Ordered food, said 30 mins delivery arrived in 16 minuets,

Sweet & sour sauce like water & no taste, Soft noodles burnt and rubber, Beef curry could not even eat the beef and onions raw & curry like a jelly texture,

Chicken balls over cooked about 4 times rock hard and chicken couldn’t even cut through

Best thing about the meal 1 prawn cracker rang and complained answer I got was nothing they can do. All food in the bin.. would avoid and a waste of £32.70 & now starving! Customer service is shocking. 0/10 had to give one start...
