On Tuesday 4th January 2022 myself, my wife and a family friend called in to The Crossed Shuttle in Pudsey around 13.00 time fine at first, a couple of hours later there was no substantial heating only a small log fire which was lit twice between 1.30 pm and five pm which only lasted at the most twenty minutes each time, the duty staff were walking around looking very glum as the gloomy weather outside. We found this very disappointing sitting in a very cold public house with very little or no heating, customers were walking out saying its very cold in here, yes we could have done the same we actually believed it may get warmer but AS IT DIDNT, these regular customers will not be returning back to the Crossed Shuttle again Bitterly Dissappointed even children were shivering while waiting for their food this is not Acceptable plus no sign of manager after mentioning to staff about the situation just did not seem to care or be interested on comments and as a result of this my wife is poorly with heavy cold and sore throat thank you Mr. A Walker and family ...

I have eaten at Wetherspoons many a time, and have genuinely enjoyed my experiences, but unfortunately It was the service that has really let it down this time. Me and my partner had gone out for my grandads 70th. We ordered a few picky bits between us and the drinks were flowing. When the food had arrived it was missing sauce that usually comes in the wrap we had ordered. A common mistake I imagine they are very try busy in the kitchen, but the never of staff, magenta, I believe her name was, was very rude and moody. It was clearly a problem to have asked for the sauce it should have come with the wrap. She was very unwelcoming and was rude to their members of staff also. This is very disappointing to see that a very well known establishment would be having staff behaving this way, not only to customers but also to her colleagues. We will be back as the drinks are cheap and food isn’t bad. Just hope someone sees this and mentions to her that it’s unacceptable to be behaving like this. Customer...

This is my local Spoons so been a few times and had no issues at all. Went last night and a young female member of staff who I didn't recognise decided to ID me and by friend (both of us are 27 and my friend had ID to prove it but I didn't). The girl very abruptly told me that she wouldn't serve me my drink, that I also wouldn't get a soft drink to replace it as I had (unknowingly) ticked a box in the app to say I am of age and then came over again later to let me know I'd be kicked out at 9pm (it was only 7:30pm at this point). Her attitude was shocking, I didn't kick up any fuss about the fact I paid for a drink I wasn't getting, despite the fact I go there often and clearly wouldn't be a minor hanging out with a nearly 30 year old. The way she handled the situation felt unnecessarily rude and gave the impression she was more interested in asserting authority than respecting customers. Her attitude made the atmosphere uncomfortable which is...

A traditional older style pub, built on the site of a previous pub, with lots of character and lots of local history displayed along with interesting pictures and artifacts from Pudsey's industrial past. An excellent selection of real ales and good service from friendly staff. The ladies were very clean and interesting pictures to look at on the stairs as you went up. If I lived nearer, it would be a regular place for a drink.

No problem to try the popular Assassin ale before I bought in this popular/busy Spoons. I had fish, chips and garden peas with an Oakham Citra can for just over £8, saving over £6 on the promotion deal. Food was very good, with a generous portion of peas, unlike other Spoons. Quick service and great value. Large front garden that might well be a suntrap in the summer months. Worth a look if you're in the vicinity.

This place was the worst Witherspoon's I have been to.I picked up a barbeque chicken and bacon panini. It had one rasher of bacon and around a third of a chicken breast in it.The coffee had only black, there was no milk and my elderly mum is diabetic and I was told there were no sweeteners, she would have to have sugar instead.A very poor experience.I won't be going back! One to Avoid!!£15 wasted.
