Pausa Cafe — Restaurant in Leeds

Coffee is good here, but the same cannot be said for the food. Ordered the philly style toastie and there were about 4 small pieces of pulled beef in it, not to mention it was so dry! I was just chewing and chewing. The chilli con carne jacket potato also didn’t impress. Didn’t even come with cheese and there was no butter on the potato so it was so dry. I recommend the coffee but not any of the food, it was all really mediocre. For the prices they charge I expect more. Also the service isn’t really that good… a few years ago this used to be a great place to get some grub for a decent price, it’s gone...

Better as expected, especially hot food. I like the portion and the price, the temperature of the food, especially the bean served hot enough. The choice of the food is good and many. The coffee is made good. And I see the cakes are nice and may try some next time.

The restaurant is well decorated, especially the lighting. Maybe they can tell which products they are and where the location of the products are available to buy in the shop.

Things to improve: the culinary, that is knife, spoon and fork, can be cleaner and made dry before available at the self...

Came in for lunch and asked if they do take away. The guy taking orders at the till said "if you want a take away, you can have a take away..." and then laughed at me like it was the stupidest question he'd ever heard - why be rude when it costs you literally...
