Galleria — Restaurant in Leeds

My second visit (first was good) second not at all. I sat outside wanting to read my book on a nice day. Went in to order was told I had to have my drink in a takeaway mug and they were only doing takeaway flatbreads. Outside were lots of people outside with lovely plates and mugs, eating getting things brought out to them and I had to wait inside, eat from a box and a takeaway cup for £14.50 the same price as if I'd have had the service and enjoyment as everyone else. When I asked if I could have my drink in a mug I was told no because they were having issues with their booking system, makes no sense to me as all. I came here to treat myself and really wished I'd gone somewhere else. I felt so upset and weirdly treated. So disappointed and felt really poorly treated and singled out especially as I was visiting on my own. I won't be recommending to my friends to come back as the atmosphere and service this time around was not friendly or welcoming. I also cannot believe how poor this chicken wrap...

As we were having brunch with our friends and their small child, Galleria was a great option. We’d requested in advance that we have a table tucked away but with some space around it as their child is energetic! Gallleria had obviously accommodated this which was spot on. The kids menu was really good too. Us adults had a round of delicious flatbreads and mimosas (with very good coffee too!) and the food as always at Galleria was spot on.

My only slight problem was that when the yoga class kicked out, it became very busy and service slowed down a lot - after very attentive service up to 11am, after 11am we felt a bit forgotten and had to approach the staff a couple of times to order food and drink - and a side order was missed from our food too. But the lesson here is clearly to book either just before or just after the yoga classes finish! Overalll still a great experience...

Visited for the first time over the weekend after wanting to try it since it opened. Galleria exceeded my expectations and I’ll definitely be back!

We popped in for lunch as we were in the area and as soon as we sat down I loved the atmosphere, it felt really relaxed. While we couldn’t order our first choice dishes as they’d run out of hash browns (not a common occurrence apparently, it was just because we came in the last opening day before New Year), I was actually really happy that I’d had to order the Huevos Rancheros as it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend, even the flatbread is amazing. The portion size for this I felt was really good, particularly having seen reviews that the hash brown dishes were a bit on the small side. The food also came quickly despite being a fairly busy sunday at midday...
