Punjab Catering — Restaurant in Leeds

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

It took them 7+ hours for them to finally answer our calls. They closed the restaurant before delivering us our order despite us ordering an hour before they closed and them confirming our order. After repeatedly calling them, they answered and we had to convince them to deliver us our food which we were charged for. They still managed to mess up our order and sent us some bread (which cost less than a £1) instead of the £6 dish we paid for. The food itself was not worth the money nor was it very tasty. Both my girlfriend and I felt sick a few days afterwards... possibly caused by the food considering other reviews mention food poisoning. I am utterly shocked this restaurant is even allowed to be open as they consistently scam customers and have had so many bad reviews. I am not one to leave bad reviews but the stress Punjab Catering and Uber have caused me is unbearable.

Understandably, we asked Uber to refund us which they did. HOWEVER, they have then added a 'Pending Due' to my Uber account and I have been unable to order any Uber taxi's or food since unless I pay this money which isn't fair considering the stress the restaurant caused us by making us wait up all night for hours (with no update) and the fact they didn't even send us the correct food. We tried using my girlfriend's card to order food instead and Uber then blocked that card too. So now we're both without access to Uber (which is Uber's fault too) but this all started because of Punjab Catering. This situation has been extremely upsetting and has wasted so much of my time. I have been going back and forth with Uber for WEEKS trying to get this charge removed from my account. I highly recommend ordering from a different restaurant (with better reviews) and ordering off JustEat or Deliveroo instead.

BIG BIG THANK YOU TO Khuzaifa AND THE STAFF MEMBERS of Punjab Catering WHO DROPPED OFF/PICKED UP for our event Friday 24/08/17!! The food according to all of our guests was DELICIOUS AND AWESOME! of our 240 guests that RSVPd, 215 showed...even with everyone having seconds/thirds&even packing plates to go home, we still had food galore!! The staff members who dropped off and picked up were EXCELLENT and super cool to work with. Working with Khuzaifa from the beginning was a super easy process especially being that I reside here in the wakefield bus station....never once had to stress or worry about anything when planning with Punjab Catering...Khuzaifa gets back to requests/emails FAST unlike other catering companies who leave you without word for days/even a week before they get back to- this was NEVER the case...We will definitely use Punjab Catering again if ever needed and would DEFINITELY recommend them or refer them to any and everybody!!...

Punjab catering provided catering for our wedding on 01/03/18 and we would just like to thank them for the wonderful food and for helping to make our day so special!

The chicken curry and lamb biryani were fabulous and the lamb curry was to die for!

The kebabs, meat samosas and the chicken drumsticks for the evening party was awesome and my wife and I had a taste of the chicken drum sticks witch she and i absolutely loved.

Khuzaifa and his team are very professional and really cool. They helped us with planning the wedding breakfast and even supplied us with all the crockery, cutlery, napkins and even the dancefloor!

We had so many great comments from our guests and many agreed it was the best wedding food they had ever had!

I would recommend Punjab Catering to anyone for their wedding or event.

If you're pop up becomes permanent we will definitely come and visit!
