Highly recommend for a private event!
We held our drinks/canapés reception at the Brasserie after getting married up the road at the registry office. I cannot express enough how happy we were with Gaz (owner) and the team and the efforts they made to make our day extra special. Especially with all of the issues of trying to plan a wedding during covid restrictions, it was a breath of fresh air that this part of planning went smoothly and they kindly went out of their way to add all of the special touches we wanted.
Incredibly helpful, collaborative and easy throughout the planning process, and the service and food on the day were absolutely perfect. The atmosphere at the Riverside Brasserie itself is light and bright, and we were able to decorate, but it didn't need much as the space itself is special. Read moreHad a fabulous experience at this brasserie today . We were a party of six but when we turned up the place was very busy . The man in charge said " no problem , come back in 10 minutes and I'll sort you out" . 10 minutes later and we returned to find he had sorted us out with a table for six as promised. The man had a lovely way about him and we had a bit of fun chatting to him . Food was ordered,supplied and consumed . There was a good choice of dishes available we were all more than happy with the food . Lovely surroundings, decent food at reasonable prices and the man in charge ensured that we had an enjoyable and memorable meal . I'll definitely go back...

But the kids menu is fishfingers and beans, nuggets and beans etc from frozen (I suspect), not healthy/freshly prepared food. But my real issue was having to eat dessert with all the crockery, empty beer bottles, soup tureen, plates cluttering the table.
