I've had really great service here in the past. The indoor tables are so sweet with a little flower in the centre. But today, the miserable owner dude was unnecessary brusque/rude and then overcharged me for a drink. I was treated as if my order was an inconvenience. He eventually realised he'd overcharged me but I was over it by then. I won't go back. Over-priced tiny portions of food, suffocated in cling film. My partner and I have spent many a happy half hour here with a cuppa whilst awaiting our train, the atmosphere and provisions are always charming and welcome. Unfortunately this morning I was greeted on the till by an exceptionally rude young man who made me feel very unwelcome and almost convinced me not to return. I understand when someone is having a bad day, but the poor treatment for whatever reason that may have been was uncalled for and I could not stomach the food that was made after such treatment..
