Cactus Mexican Takeaway — Restaurant in Lincoln

I have noticed that this takeaway only responds to good reviews, so I don't expect a reply to this.

The worst food I have ever tased. Yes the delivery was quick, but that's a moot point if the food is awful! I had the Meatballs in a spicy sauce. "MEATBALLS"? more like card balls. They tasted like they had been overcooked from the freezer using Chef Mic. There was no taste and no spice to the sauce and it was overfilled with overcooked, squashy, veg. The only reason they could class the meatballs as a plural is because there were 4 of them... that's right, only 4... for £8. Totally NOT worth the money! The best part was the wedges, but even they were poorly done.

My wife said much the same about her Chilli Con Carne. It was bland and tasteless and had no spice to it. Again totally NOT worth £8.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY FOLKS, YOU CAN GET BETTER...

I was having a gremlin night (home alone, glued to the sofa, no desire to cook or go to the shops, already in pyjamas) and decided I really wanted a cheesy toasted wrap of some description. Ordered a chicken chimichanga as part of the £16 meal deal and you know what, it was decent. Hot, cheesy, crispy. The nachos it came with were deeply average but it was a good sized portion, covered in cheese, and came with salsa, guac, and sour cream. I am highly suspicious of the "homemade" credentials of the coleslaw but whatever. Is it gourmet? No. Is it perfect for a gremlin...

Absolutely shocking turns up over 45 minutes late with most of items missing when phone to ask where my order was I was greeted to a snotty rude aggrant so called manger who claimed food to be perfect and no items missing ..which infact I got a bowl of chopped tomatoes (chilli ) with no sides and a burger bun with salad and a poor effect of chicken ...this place has gone down massively since lockdown will never order...
