This place is just fantastic. I ordered from them once when I first moved to Lincoln and just haven't looked back.

The flavours are always spot on. Anything tandoori is incredible, I highly recommend trying anything from that menu.

For starters, I've tried the lamb and chicken momos - personally, the lamb is my favourite. The chicken manchurian starter is also really good!

If you like spice, the lamb sichuwan is fiery but packed with a deep savoury flavour. The Lasun Kukura Khursani is also spicy but it is a bit milder than the lamb sichuwan, with a tangy flavour profile.

The chicken tikka biryani was the first thing I ever tried - still 10/10, the chicken is so tender and falls off the bone.

The chicken balti is a new favourite that I recently tried - quite a fresh and savoury flavour. Complex and sooo yummy.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu, and the portions are generous. Himalayan Curry is always my first pick when I don't feel like cooking. I will always be a loyal customer to them, and I know they will always deliver amazing food and quality.

P.S. if you can order directly from the restaurant and pick it up, you can skip paying the 3rd party fees to the apps and the restaurant doesn't have to pay the apps either....

We have been to Everest Express ever since it first opened on the High street over 12 years ago and have recommended its quality food to family and friends ever since. Sadly ever since they moved premises the service, portion sizes have all gone downhill and yet the cost has risen dramatically. We ordered our usual curry and rice dishes with naans with the order totalling over £40 which is far more than a Chinese of the same quality food (actually I’d even say better from the Red Lantern on Monks road) which for the 3 of us the other day cost £28 including delivery. Yet the rice, which previously would have been full to the brim and easily fed 2 people, came today pitifully empty and barely fed one of us. The curry also had less meat than usual and the naans have gotten smaller. I can’t help the feeling you now think you are worth far more than you are because of the past reputation the company has built but have sacrificed the service that made Everest so great. Admittedly the food is still very good but I refuse to pay the earth for a tiny morsel of food when there are actually still other very good Indian takeaways in Lincoln that overall offer a better package. Will not be eating here...

Dissapointed. Ordered 2 portions of shish kebabs for starters which tasted like rubber and just come out of the microwave. Then for the main ordered a Lamb Achari which turned out to be beef and cold. The wife's chicken rogan josh tasted like something out of a jar and was tasteless and also cold. I am a massive curry fan and this was one of the worst I have experienced. Apart from the bottle of king cobra at a tenner a bottle! and white wine plus the nice service, the food was terrible and nothing near authentic as advertised. And as you can see I have received a reply from the owner saying that they do not use beef?Well it definitely was not lamb and that they do not have achari on the menu?Which I ordered off the menu. And then says check that I was in the correct restaurant?? Believe you me??I was in the correct restaurant and the food served was as I described...

We are not originally from Lincoln and went for a day trip. Waking along high street and then walking up the strait we found this hidden gem. The staff was so lovely and the food was absolutely amazing! Very clean and neat restaurant with great bathrooms too. The food was very authentic and reasonably priced and I would recommend it to all of my friends and family to pay this place a visit when in Lincoln! Especially the lunch time deal is to die for! You end up getting so much food for such an amazing price :) personal recommendation: chilli chicken, paneer curry, LKK and garlic naan! The pilau rice was also to die for, so very well spiced yet so fluffy and light

Absolutely wonderful experience. Everything was delicious! The pappadam & dips were the perfect starter and came in generous portions. The garlic naan was crispy & had great flavor. The Lasun Kura Khursani ("LKK") was fantastic and had more than enough for leftovers. Definitely trust those chilli pepper ratings though, as just two peppers was a sinus clearer. The servers were very responsive & kind, answering my (likely annoying) questions. Can't recommend this place enough! Give it a try if you want some great Indian/Nepalese.

It was our first time in this restaurant and certainly won’t be the last. Service was excellent, nice cosy setting, and food was amazing. I had a different dish, Nepal chicken which had a mango flavoured curry and was delicious. So was the mountain chicken and tikka masala. The Naan bread was beautiful. Price was great too. Highly recommended 👏🏼
