We have supported this business throughout Lockdown and are regular customers.

We ordered again today. After a 2 hour wait the food arrived. Not only was my food stone cold, it was the wrong order. I phoned them and with no apology was hit with a list of their woes and problems.

What I found disturbing was when I heard them ask where the delivery driver had gone next! We're they going to riffle through the food and bring it to me, not very hygienic especially with Covid. I requested s full refund and was told you may not like the sandwich you have. I pointed out not only was it wrong it was disgusting and was only fit for the bin. She stated there had been an incident on the high street and the deliveries couldn't go out. Surely that gave more time to double check them. That she would get the order to me as I explained I am working from home and am going into a Zoom meeting so it's no good now.

Very poor service.. ordered a couple of baps and egg and asked to change to a large breakfast.. both the black pudding and hash brown was missing from the order, and wasn't offered the difference of money back even though it was cheaper.. plus with the missing items would have caused it to be around £2 cheaper. Found bits of small hair in the coffee and cup was dirty. Also my friend had ordered a cold sandwich which included a side salad, and was spoke to with a terrible attitude when she asked the woman politely where the salad was. Overall attitude was terrible, and was made to feel awkward and bad for asking to change the order. I myself suffer from social anxiety, and people like this do not make it much worse. My last review was 2 years ago after a few weeks visiting this cafe. I can now give a more comprehensive review. I have just had the most delicious meal, served by the friendliest staff on the planet- club sandwich cooked to perfection and salt and pepper chips with a fresh side salad. This is my favourite, along with the steak, onion and mushroom baguette. The meals have been consistently well cooked and presented, and the prices incredibly reasonable. Staff have done an incredible job during this pandemic. I don't know how they do it. Highly recommended. Update: Owing to illness have not been a regular customer recently. Went in today.
