Crispy Cod & The Famous Sotos Greek Taverna — Restaurant in Liverpool

This is the first restaurant I ate at after arriving in the UK, and I will always remember it for the heartwarming experience. The staffs are genuinely friendly and very welcoming. (Also happens to be the place I got called "love" for the first time. It's a big deal for non British peops. I can never pull that off). On the first day, I visited with two of my friends and I had veg fried rice, and the quantity was insanely large. Today, I visited again and had a cheese burger while my friend ordered a combo meal. I finished the burger and helped my friend finish the meal. So if you're visiting, be prepared & bring your spare tummy. On both occasions, the food tasted good and I will surely be visiting again. I popped I'm here for some takeaway food while staying onLomdon road and it was such a pleasant experience! As a vegetarian, it can often be difficult to find your options at restaurants, but they had a clear section with all the veggie meals easy to see! When I got the food itself, it was a great portion and all tasted lovely. The best part of the experience by far was the gentleman who served me, we only spoke briefly but he was so courteous, upbeat and just seemed to enjoy what he was doing and being there in general! I called in here the other day, I was charged £1.70 for small, sharp, burned chips that looked like they had been there from the night before, I did ask politely could I have some fresh ones as these are burned, The Lady behind the counter acted as if she wanted to fight me, then the chef came out threatened me and told me to get out his shop, Stating that he was sick of my kind of people and wanted to know where i came from.
