Leigh Arms — Restaurant in Liverpool

We stayed the night and booked this "accommodation" on a different website. Literally the worst overnight experience of my life. So first we arrived and we had to "check in" at some trashed down pub. We paid 155 dollars for the night (which is ridiculous). The reviews are good on Booking com, but most of them are fakes. It said we could pay with a visa... Which was false. We had to pay cash. Received no receipt (I'm not even sure these guys are straight with the British IRS). Toilet is shared. Room stinks of alcohol at times. And best of all... You won't get any sleep before midnight: the pub downstairs blasts horrendously loud music, and when you try enter the accommodation, drunk people start aggressively talking to you. I do not recommend this...

A month before my arrival I wrote in the booking survey that I will be at midnight. Nobody reacted to this. 2 days before the trip I got a message that I have to cancel the reservation because nobody will be at this time. Thanks for the nervous search for a new location...

Had a fab night out with friends and staff and customers really friendly, I lost my purse on the night but staff found it and I got it back with money still inside restores your faith in...
