The place looked really inviting and seemed pretty busy which was a good sign. We looked for a vacant table however the ones that where empty were littered and still full of empty plates or cups from the previous diners. We did however find a table and took a seat.
After waiting for quite some time we decided that the waitress wasn't coming real soon so we decided to take up the offer of using the QR Code to order our choices. At this point we started to see that other diners were getting quite frustrated. Why was everything taking so long to arrive after odrering?
Our coffees did eventually arrive after 15 minutes but was cold. so we asked if the lady wouldn't mind bringing some hot water as both coffees were not very hot. She came staright away but didn't ask wether we would like a fresh cup instead which was a bit odd.
So after half an hour after we had ordered our food, we started to see more and more diners complaining about what the whole wait was about. We ourselves had noticed that there was loads of food waiting to be taken which was on the chefs passover..
Why wasn't food being delivered? We then realised there was only one waitress over seeing the whole restaurant, even though there was a back log of orders waiting. There was three or four staff who could have easily taken the food. However they each seemed to have their own individual jobs and never thought to clear the back log and catch up. At this point some of the food had been cooked and sat there for over ten minutes????
The chefs continued to cook food even though they could see the food wasn't being delivered. One guy was very slow clearing tables, whilst another another just stood at the entrance to the diner I assume being the Maître d. Why weren't the chfs demanding the food be taken to the customers? A young lady continued to rapidly taking orders even though food wasn't going out, and there was now a huge back log of orders on the passover slowly going cold.
The lady who brought the hot water for the cold coffee eventually brought our order and apologised for the delay. Then she was gone again. Fair play to the lady as she was the only one with any urgency.
From the first bite, everything was cold and not really edible, I again tried to get a member of staffs attention but tgo no avail, no one seemed to care.
I would have complained and demanded my money back had anyone took the time to check us. Really bad service from start to finish, but we had a flight to catch and had to go.
I have to say I have never seen such a place so disorganised. Maybe a honest and true account of peoples experiences of this place need the managment to read and implement some changes, because this was totally unacceptable.
The whole dreadful experience cost nearly £50, for what was a disasterous attempt at being a diner.
I have written a letter to the managment but won't be holding my breath to get any kind of response.
My advise to anyone would be.... not to order through the QR Code, because you pay upfront. At least you would have a chance to complain when you came to paying the bill.
Avoid at all cost is my advise, until the team get their act together and start caring about customers who pay...
Read more1st and last time we will go here. As this was new in Liverpool airport we thought we would give it a try. What a mistake this was. Terribly Overpriced food and terrible service. Nobody to show you to your table so we wondered in and sat down. Nobody comes near you and you have to scan qr code on the table to order. Ordered 2 pints which were £8 each and the Guinness looked like it had been poured by a child. My wife ordered the chicken burger and fries and I got the cheeseburger. We waited over half an hour for this to arrive arrive and the chips were cold. Worst of all was the chicken burger. How they call this a chicken burger wa begin me. It was 3 small chicken goujons that were like something from Iceland in a bap. The coleslaw which was stated as homemade was absolutely not and mass produced crap. The cheeseburger was ok. £50 for 2 burgers and fries and 2 pints which is a disgrace and McDonald's would put this place to shame. The staff wonder around scratching their heads like nobody has worked in hospitality before while food sits out getting cold before they bring it to you. I can't see this place being open for...

My family and I (wife and 2 children) had the unfortunate experience of eating here before a flight from Liverpool Airport. From start to finish, it was a disaster.
First, the app wouldn’t work – something the waitress admitted "never does." When I asked for a receipt, I noticed they had added an extra £10 to our bill. I questioned the overcharge, and they told me it was because we required waitress service – despite the app being unusable. Only after expressing my frustration was the charge waived.
We then waited 30 minutes just for drinks, which arrived incorrectly. Eventually, I gave up and went to the bar to get them myself. When our food finally came, the chicken burgers were burnt, and my daughter's cheeseburger had a long blonde hair in the mustard sauce – which we didn’t even order.
When I raised all of these issues, the waiter just shrugged and said, "OK." No apology. No care whatsoever.
Given the limited dining options at Liverpool Airport, this place is a complete joke and really expensive. I wouldn’t recommend...
