Tropicana Fish Bar — Restaurant in Liverpool

I wish i could give an accurate representation on how many stars the food was worth, alas it wasn’t meant to be. the time was 7pm. we placed a hefty order, we had 4, young, ravenous mouths to feed. time goes by, belly’s start rumbling. where is our food? after an hour and a half I decided to engage in a very polite telephone conversation with a seemingly polite representative. how wrong i was. she told us the driver was in the restaurant, we would get a free bottle of coke for the inconvenience, hooray! who doesn’t love a freebie? you may be thinking, well what’s got your cutlery in such a tizzy? this establishment is exactly 8 minutes away from my home. 2 hours after placing my order and 30 minutes after my original phone call i decided to call them up again. i was informed the driver was on his way, but he would be delivering to other places in the area. aha. therein lies the issue. i asked her for some reimbursement as i knew my food would be cold. sure microwaves exist but after two, gruelling, agonising hours of earth-shattering belly rumbles, i just wanted to sit down with my chips. now, fasten ur seatbelts and turn off all mobile phones, for the real fun is about to begin. it sure seemed like fun for the girl on the phone. she was waiting for an argument. like she had trained for this her whole life. i was dismissed, shouted at, what happened to girl code? eventually she said to me “the boss has cancelled the order. bye” and promptly ended the call. rudeness. i called back. number blocked. pettiness. new phone. ingenious. new representative, she made up an elaborate script of abuse i had apparently hurled. now the driver has eaten my chips, shared my curry with the birds, and i have not received my money back. moral of the story- do not order from here unless you are prepared to have it for ur breakfast despite ordering it at...

What an absolutely vile disgusting restaurant🤢 the food is bland and soggy. I should have walked out when I watched one of the staff finger her greasy hair with a Pen before touching People's food. No gloves, masks or washing of hands. Their attitude to people on the phone was shockingly unprofessional also. Out of the 100s of places we have had to review this one is by far the worse.

Anyone who has gave this place a good review I really feel sorry for you! It must have been hard growing up if you honestly believe this food to be anything special. I wish I read the rest of the reviews before we visited this abomination...

Ordered on there app they accepted my order gave me a time of delivery took the money out my bank after me waiting an hour I called up the lady said it was on its way so after another 20 minutes I called back. She said you cancelled it. I never and apparently it was on its way. She then said oh we don’t deliver to this address even tho still on there app they do. Haven’t sent the money back and are now telling me that I have to wait 24 hours to get the money back. The girl on the phone then hangs up, absolute disgrace. I am fuming.
