Umami Walton — Restaurant in Liverpool

Ordered here lastnight on a whim, and was blown away by how good the food was! I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best pizza I've eaten (including in New York and Chicago), and the Burger and sides were all fantastic too.

Ordered again tonight because I'm weak and wanted to try another type of pizza, there was a small issue with the Deliveroo driver giving us the wrong order and not only did the girl on the phone deal with it quickly and professionally (as opposed to most fast food places that want your life story and a 360 degree slowmo of the food to prove that the order was wrong) but the manager drove the correct order to us and we had the food, hot, within 15 mins.

On top of that, the mac and cheese bites were also the best Mac and cheese bites I've eaten, and I eat Mac and Cheese bites way more than I should. Wife is currently loving her wrap. Cheeseburger fries are phenomenal. One of my kids is smashing a milkshake, which I'm going to pay for when I try to put her to bed in 20 minutes.

Overall the food is nice, I won’t deny that, but it’s just not worth the price. The pizzas and wraps are really tasty and I enjoyed them both. However, the dip for £2 was tiny, and the fries, I’m sorry but I just felt I was completely ripped off. Too salty to begin with, a normal portion of fries is £3.95, which is definitely fair. But I paid £11.95 for pizza fries which is what is pictured above. Apparently I paid an extra £8 for some tomato puree and a couple of slices of pepperoni that only made the fries soggy. It was a major misrepresentation. Not sure if I’ll order from here again, which is unfortunate because some stuff is really nice. Price-wise, though, it’s just too expensive for what it is. This place is ridiculous the stuff absolutely should not be working in there. I am foreigner delivery driver I go to collect my order from there they give me empty bag I said it look like nothing inside they said no that's what she orders .
