Zezu — Restaurant in Liverpool

I've been struggling for a while now to find some great tasting food, full of flavour and economically price. Well, today that struggle has ended! I came across Zezu accidentally due to missing my bus stop and having to walk back. The atmosphere looked nice, clean, modern and welcoming. I walked in and explained my dissatisfaction with the local takeaways and asked the hostess to recommend a dish. I've got to say the food Kacie recommended was beyond delicious. I enjoyed every bite. I saw a couple of foody reviews online so I thought I'd give Zezu a try on my way back from the match. The young lady in there offered me a free bowl of the chicken and corn soup whilst I was waiting for my food. I must say, it was absolutely delicious! Then came the anticipated moment of my donner meat spice bag. I was not disappointed! Inside the bag was a mixture of marinated donner meat, seasoned fries, peppers and onions. Went today to Zezu for the first time everything for a first time experience was horrible called up 20 minutes before I arrived to put my order in for collection got told over the phone it will take ‘15-20 minutes’ once I arrived I got told it will be ‘5 minutes’ however I waited a further 41 minutes until my food was ready once my food was ready I got told there was tissues and cutlery in my bag once I drove off and opened my bag I had no cutlery or tissues so I had to drive back to get cutlery when I also asked for a tissues they gave us one each what a joke!
