I ordered a cheesy garlic focaccia and sparkling water. 20 minutes after placing the order the buzzer didn't beep. Finally after waiting for such a long time I went to the counter and discovered that my order was missed by the chef.
I expected an honest response about the oversight of my order but the chef lied blatantly suggesting that my order is in the oven ( that clearly looked empty btw) and it should be fulfilled in 2 minutes.
The hostess at the counter kept on apologising and offered me freebies but I wasn't looking for any freebies or a refund, my expectation was the chef shouldn't have lied. I was almost leaving the food court but the hostess rushed to me and kept on apologising for a fault that wasn't her doing.
Worst part was the hostess played a victim card about chef being from a poor country but somehow I missed the correlation between the origin of the chef and delays in in fulfilling my order.
All I expect is honesty and candidness delays do happen we are human beings after all but lies are unacceptable.
Food was average as it was being done hurriedly by the chef. I expected a rather honest and truthful communication instead of an apology laced with...
Read moreI think this is the last time I will order pizza from this place; here's why
I've noticed the restaurant has added several compelling offers to the menu, e.g. two pizzas bundle. However, it seems it is unable to cope with the resulting increase in demand. Both the quality of the ingredients and the service have worsen.
The pizzas arrived cold and soggy, and the quality of the dow has deteriorated. Labelling the pizza as 'Neapolitan' seems a bit of a stretch.
The restaurant uses its delivery workforce, and users cannot keep track of their order on Uber Eats. It handled my order entirely in the wrong way. I scheduled an order at 5 PM for delivery around 6:30-7:00 PM, and the pizzas arrived 1 hour later (8:00 PM). Last but not least, I was very unimpressed by the Tiramisu. Had I bought it from Tesco at half the price, it would have probably tasted better. It wasn't fresh at all.
I will concede that the two pizza bundle price is competitive relative to other Neapolitan pizzerias nearby. However, I wouldn't bear all of the above again to save a...
Read moreMy son wanted to give them 5 1/2 stars, but 4 seems fair only because we only tried one thing - which we enjoyed immensely. To be clear,y wife and I were raised in New Jersey, so we have high standards for pizza. While in London on a family vacation, we were starving after traipsing about all day and needed sustenance. We hadn't planned on getting any dishes we could ordinarily get at home, but with a child we decided to make it easy on ourselves. We saw some good reviews about Adora, which was near enough to our rented flat. Had a nice chat with the proprietor when we ordered the Regina Margherita. The pizza was right on. Like I said, we have high standards for pizza. The crust was perfect on taste, texture, and chew. The sauce was on the money, and the cheese was perfect. Only thing missing was fresh basil. And the only hang up was atmosphere because it's buried in a food hall, something we're not used to in the States. Hence, if you find yourself in Kensington with a hankering for pizza made with high-quality ingredients,...
