Agathas — Restaurant in London

Being new to the area, we thought we would give Agatha's a try (even though we were sceptical judging by the look of the place). This was a mistake.

Chips had a gross taste to them, like they had been cooked in old oil- they also seemed stale. The salad used in the (tiny, fatty) lamb kebab was nearly off and not fresh at all. The fish batter was soggy. We couldnt finish our meals as they were too gross (even though we were starving).

Very disappointing, especially as they are not cheap. Really cant quite understand how they can still be open when they serve such low...

Incredibly rude staff. We’ve tried twice to order in person now and both times we were met with dismissive and rude comments. The first time we went well before closing time and they refused to serve us because we came ‘too late’. The second time we politely asked if the large portions were enough for two. The lady who was serving us became visibly frustrated with this question, raised her voice, started waving her hands around and said ‘you’ll know when I serve you’.

Both times we were very polite and patient. I honestly have never been met with such...

Extremely rude woman behind the counter pretending to serve customers. The moment I walked in she scolded me for picking up a cardboard menu from the counter and said I should pick up the menus behind me. I don’t have eyes at the back of my head.

She then became frustrated when after a long day I was taking my time deciding what to order and she was speaking to me as if I am at school.

I will not be coming to this place again. We are the customers and we should be able to take as long as we like to eat.
