Visited Aladdin’s Shisha Lounge recently, and overall, it was a pretty decent experience.

I went for a mix of FRZ Raspberry 🍓 and FRZ Lychee 🥭 shisha with an ice pipe ❄️ – and honestly, it was smooth and easy to smoke, not harsh at all. Definitely one of the better shishas I’ve had around Ilford.

The atmosphere was lively 🎶, with a good balance of people, and there are TVs 📺 around, which is a nice touch if you want to catch a game or show while you’re there. For me, it was more about having a chill spot 🛋️ to catch up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while, and it worked perfectly for that.

We ordered a portion of chips 🍟, but unfortunately, they were far too oily 🫢. At first, they tasted okay, but once they cooled down, you could really tell the oil wasn’t fresh – like it hadn’t been changed in a while. That definitely put me off trying more from the food menu, so I can’t comment on other dishes.

On the other hand, the fresh apple juice 🍏 was amazing – probably one of the highlights of the visit. If you’re into fresh juice, they’ve nailed it here. Hats off to them 👏 for that!

The customer service was top-notch 🙌, easily a 10/10. The staff were welcoming, polite, and attentive throughout, which really added to the experience.

They’ve also introduced a loyalty scheme 🎟️ where after five visits you get a free shisha – a smart move that definitely makes you want to come back.

If I had to nitpick, the seating could be cosier 🛋️. It looks comfortable at first glance, but once you sit down, it’s not quite as comfy as it appears.

From the moment we stepped in, the duo made us feel right at home with their friendly demeanour and attentive approach. Nothing was too much trouble, and their hospitality truly stood out, elevating our evening from enjoyable to memorable.

We started with a mint shisha, smooth and refreshing, with the staff ensuring it was consistently topped up and perfect throughout our stay. The food did not disappoint either: the chicken wrap was packed with flavour and grilled to perfection; the masala chips were a standout with a spicy kick that kept us going back for more. The smash beef burger was juicy and satisfying, layered with just the right amount of toppings, and the peri peri wings added a fiery punch to round off the meal.
