Booking experience was awful, can only call to book and then you have to talk to an AI bot who gets 80% of what you try to say wrong. Booked over a week in advance and the AI booked for 64 people by mistake, received a message to rectify this manually and they said the booking was sorted.

On the day of the booking, they said that there was no booking at all and had to be reminded numerous times that we had a message directly from the restaurant phone that our booking was confirmed. Once they stopped denying this they then went on to say that we did not put a deposit down, we have booked with them multiple times and never needed to put a deposit down so this was clearly them avoiding taking any accountability for a mess up on their side. After not accepting this, they then said that they were overbooked due to accepting too many "offline bookings". This clearly actually meant they got greedy and accepted too many walk ins than they could handle on the day and so the phone bookings could not be fulfilled.

The employee who answered us was clearly dishonest, lacking in any accountability and the restaurant as a whole came across as completely unprofessional and not viewing customer experience as a priority (further emphasised by their generic response to every negative review). I would heavily advise not booking here for a dine-in experience, especially as it seems your two options are to either not have your booking fulfilled at all or to have your booking honoured but be subject to poor and unprofessional service in a venue that is clearly not sufficient to hold the capacity that they want to accommodate leading to long wait times both to be served and receive your food. I will concede that the food does taste good if you are willing to deal with the numerous pitfalls of this establishment that I have...

Today (Saturday evening), our little family of four—me, my partner, and our two kids—decided to try out Alanya Roman Road. It was busy, the kind of lively atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in the right place. From the moment we walked in, the front-of-house team greeted us with such warmth and genuine smiles. It felt like we were being welcomed into a friend’s home rather than a restaurant.

Now, I’ll be honest—there was a little mix-up with our order. When the food arrived, we realized it wasn’t what we’d asked for. It turned into one of those moments that makes you appreciate great customer service even more. The manager, Fozlu Bai, came over straight away. He didn’t just apologize; he went out of his way to make things right, reassuring us that we wouldn’t be charged extra for the mistake. His calm, kind demeanor and genuine care for our experience really stood out. It wasn’t just about fixing the problem—it was about making us feel valued.

The food was fantastic! Once everything was sorted, we enjoyed every bite. But what really made the evening special was how the team handled the situation. It’s not every day you come across a place that turns a small hiccup into a memorable, positive experience.

We left that night with full bellies and even fuller hearts. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines great food with such heartfelt service. We’re already planning our next visit and telling all our friends and family about this gem of a place.
