Where do I start, it took a while for the waitress to find a table for us, even though I had booked. Then they left us and we had to get a waitress to come back to take our order. As the other waitress that was on, that had I had a Wowcher, she didn't seem to bother and said order on the table and pay at table. But I didn't want to do that, so they said go and order at the bar, but I had just queued up at the bar to get a table, so I didn't want to do that, so asked the waitress if she could take the order. She said yes and would send someone over. When the waitress arrived I said I had a Wowcher but she said order what you want and pay at table or bar. I have ordered paella and fish and chip, and honeycomb Ice cream and espresso martini dessert. Then the paella wasn't on the menu the waitress said could I choose something else. So I had fish and chips, but the didn't come with crushed minted peas as advertised. The fish was ok and the espresso martini dessert was ok, but the ice cream was just a couple of scoops in a coffee cup and it had nearly all melted. I ordered a capacino and latte, I got a latte and a small machichi coffee. I thought don't complain it's taken ages to get this far. When it came to pay there was no waitresses about, they must have been on a break. There was only 2 girls covering inside and one man outside. So I went to the bar and asked to pay they seemed so short staffed, so one bloke gave me the bill of £51 , so I showed him my phone with the voucher and I only want to pay for the coffees, so in the end they took the Wowcher off and I only had to pay the coffees. The toilets were discusting dirty and wet floor and toilet roll everywhere. It's not a very nice place to eat. Only a place to have drinks and only if you can place and pay for your order at the table, not for people that like table service for food and drink. Why should I do the waitress's work and not get paid for it. The only good thing was the little smateries in a glass served with...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting a pub in the heart of Leicester Square, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This establishment has truly made the most of its prime location, offering a fantastic ambiance that caters to a variety of preferences.
One of the standout features of this pub is its ample outdoor seating area. This is a real treat, particularly when the weather is kind. It provides a unique opportunity to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Leicester Square while savoring your meal or drink. However, be sure to check the weather forecast if you plan to sit outside, as London's weather can be quite unpredictable.
For those times when the indoors are bustling with activity, there's no need to worry. The pub has two spacious floors for indoor seating, ensuring that you can still enjoy your visit even during peak hours.
What caught my attention was the convenience of ordering. You can choose to either place your order at the counter or at your table by scanning a barcode and inputting your table number. This modern approach to service streamlines the process and allows you to focus on your company and the enjoyment of the surroundings.
When it comes to drinks, you won't be disappointed. The drinks are served promptly, and the waitstaff handle orders efficiently. Whether you're in the mood for a classic pint, a cocktail, or something non-alcoholic, you're likely to find it here.
Overall, this pub in Leicester Square offers a well-rounded experience. The inviting ambiance, both indoors and outdoors, along with the convenient ordering system, and efficient service make it a top choice for a casual outing or a relaxed evening with friends. Just remember to check the weather if you plan to enjoy the...
Read moreLast Saturday, we visited at lunchtime and had an excellent experience. There was a good range of vegetarian food for my diabetic daughter and we were served very quickly. As a result, I thought All Bar One would be the best choice in the area for our visit yesterday evening. Sadly, I was wrong.
Despite booking a table, we had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table on arrival. I ordered using the app and was offered a free Modelo beer, which I ordered with our food. I also ordered a coffee for another member of the party. Although one of the drinks I ordered was delivered, neither the beer nor the coffee were delivered. There was also a significant delay for the food, which was not great for my daughter. After 25 minutes, I spoke to a member of staff who said that 25 minutes was a standard wait for food. As I had told staff that we had a diabetic member of the party, it would have been useful to know this when we arrived. No reason was given for the missing beer and the missing coffee was blamed on a broken coffee machine and poor communication with staff downstairs, who should have provided that coffee. By the time, my beer arrived, we were almost at the end of the meal and I did not have time to enjoy it or drink it all. I will not be visiting in the...
