All My Friends — Restaurant in London

The security here is awful. Came here for a couple of drinks at 6pm, all was good, nice vibes. But as soon as it got a little past 8pm suddenly the security turned up about 10 notches. Really jumpy, you're not allowed to sit in the smoking area for more than ten minutes. Our friend ordered food to a table which we were then moved from. She explained that the food was coming to the table and all she got back was 'thats not our problem'

We then moved downstairs near where the food was being made. Again, they tried to move us on saying that nobody can stay in the smoking area for more than 10 minutes. We then explained that we're still waiting for our food. Still (same guy) 'not our problem'.

For a place which is meant to be the sister of the cause the vibes are completely off. Super aggy. Just come here, spend money and try and shake it off to the nice sound system. Not working guys, try a little better. People aren't going to overlook people being on their case for not causing any trouble. It can seriously ruin a vibe of a place having security that bad.

My sister organised her birthday here in February 2023. The venue itself is okay and okay selection of drinks, beers and food, but far from anything special. The main issue is the bar staff really letting the place down by being extremely pushy with tips at the bar - especially one of the blokes who I kept hearing calling customers expletives under his breath for not tipping when buying a couple of drinks at the bar or when confusingly handing the card machine back to him without going through all the settings of adding a tip for his ‘service’ from just pouring a pint. Drinks aren’t cheap there - normally priced for the area and there is no additional service like table service for why a tip should be expected. Place was also pretty full of 18 year olds or there abouts who had had too much to drink and were chundering in the gents by 10pm. Not the best experience and wouldn’t return. I wanted to book a table for 10 people. On the website it said to contact the place directly for bookings bigger than 9, so I did. There was no response at all. I commented their instagram saying that nobody got back to me. They responded almost straightaway (on ig) that I should expect a response soon. No response. It is worth mentioning that they do not have a telephone contact which makes communication more difficult. Unfortunately, half of the group could not come so I booked a table for 5 people at the end. When we arrived it turned out that bookings are useless as there was no table reserved for us. We had to wait for someone to leave to get a table. After a wait we received the worst table near the speaker. The music was so loud I could not hear what my friends were saying. It’s not even by that table but in the entire place.
