London Lions are a British professional basketball team based in Stratford, East London, England, and compete in the British Basketball League, the top tier of British basketball. The team was originally founded in 1977 as the Hemel Hempstead Lakers, and has previously been based in Hemel Hempstead, Watford and later Milton Keynes. The team moved to London in 2012 and, since 2013, has played its home games at the Copper Box Arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. In 2017, the Lions launched a women's team into the Women's British Basketball League after partnering with and rebranding the existing Barking Abbey Crusaders team as the London Lions.[2] Dacorum Leisure Centre (1977–1997) Watford Leisure Centre (1997–1998) Bletchley Centre (1998–2009) Middleton Hall (thecentre:mk) (2010) Prestige Homes Arena (2010–2012) Crystal Palace National Sports Centre (2012–2013) Copper Box Arena (2013–present) Note:between 1998 and 2002, some home games were played at Planet Ice Milton Keynes for TV broadcasting purposes

It had air conditioning plenty of space to move about outside. Seating similar to football plastic above concrete. Light and sounds good balance not too loud. Rocket league live computer gaming. Food expensive. More range that reviews read. So had package sandwiches Inc glutton free in cooler cabinet. Lots beer. Prosecco. Can coke c2.80 and they opened it so not easy to carry. Said no food food or water allowed in. Yet search limited so able to bring bottle water hidden in coat. Should have free water tapes but only saw one. Long que at food stalls in breaks but short other times and lots of food points. Not allowed out to get air but not needed as aircon. Would be good to have own signs from Stratford Station, only had for west ham stadium so longer walk. Loads of security before and after right back to station which was good and friendly

Great team - decent venue - incompetent staff - expensive prices. Poor food n beverage options. We took our boys for a family evening out to watch the London lions basketball team, £80 for tickets which cone with seat numbers. On arriving we asked to find our seats only to be informed by the ushers that we could "sit anywhere". THIS CAUSED CHAOS! initially it sounded good, but then inevitably we had later arrivals saying "we booked the seats you're in?!" To which we replied "we were told to sit anywhere", the poor family tried to find our old seats but saw they were also taken by other punters who'd been given the same awful advice. They came back to us after about an hour and pleaded to sit where they had purchased, I then relented (whilst still furious that it was the staff who had caused this issue) and moved my own family elsewhere, no doubt taking 4 other seats that someone else had reserved. It was a huge disappointment, and very unprofessional. I then when to get sone food and drink, and paid over £50 for 4 hotdogs and 4 drinks,(2 alcohol and 2 soft drinks), the rum and coke was a simple £1 250m can, but they were charging £6.90 for it! The queue was huge, and they clearly need more food and drink outlets in the venue. I then came back to finally sit down and watch some of the match which was good, and so was the halftime entertainment and running commentary. After half hour or so I went back to get a couple more drinks and found the queue to be about 50 people deep after waiting 20 mins and barely getting anywhere another useless member of the staff came by the queue telling is to "go up to the next level there's another bar up there's and it's empty" a few of us believed her (foolishly) and left our places in the queue to go upstairs, where we then found an even longer queue about 80 people deep. We were now stuck as we couldn't return to our old queue (only to rejoin at the back) and also didn't want to have to walk back into the arena with nothing having already waited about 25 mins by this stage. Most of us were raging at this point and felt completely helpless as we stood around waiting to pay for more overpriced rubbish. By the time I finally got back to my seat I managed to catch some of the 4th quarter and vowed never to come back until they get new staff and more bars. This could have been a really enjoyable day but the staff incompetence and unprofessional advice, pkus management prices/lack of bars ruined it. I'd spent over £150 been shuffled around from seat to seat, had to argue with innocent people, been misled and lied to by staff and waited in long queues to pay over the top prices.

The venue was quite large, but we were disappointed with the food situation. We were not permitted to bring in any food, and many people were required to discard their food items. If we had known that we could not bring food and that there were limited food options at the venue, we would not have purchased tickets for the event. Additionally, the food options were limited to two types, hotdogs and crisps, which were not very appealing. The security personnel were quite rude, raising their voices at attendees and threatening to deny entry if we argued. While the game itself was enjoyable, our experience was negatively impacted by the lack of food options. We were forced to either remain hungry or leave the game in order to find food. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide advance notice regarding any restrictions on bringing food into the venue and ensure that there is a wider variety of food options available.

My dad loves basketball, before I was born I could hear him (mummy’s Tommy) talking about how good he was. So we went to watch London lions at copper box. It was my first time seeing a game live. The staff where amazing very friendly and welcoming to me, Alex and Jason were very helpful, the game itself was fantastic and so entertaining I didn’t know much but my dad loved it. The food was 5/10 but I understand that it’s just finger food, but would have loved a bit more choice. Josh who plays on the London lions invited us down, so thank you for that. I had a fab time with my dad and we both enjoyed it, if your looking for things to do with the family I can say come to a game. It’s the spending time and making memories that I like.big Thanks to the whole team you put on a banging night and the lions won🥳🥳🥳🥳

We went for the 2023 League of Legends MSI Tournament and the stage, show, production was all great. No bad seat from what I could see with lots of screens around the stage and upstairs. The audio was good too as sometimes these places can struggle a bit. Really easy to get in and out throughout the day too with a big Merchandise stand outside (this was probably the biggest queue of the day but no more than a few minutes!) The only downside was there weren't too many food and drink options (basically one little shop in the corner) and the food on offer was ok - nothing special and got you through. There is always Westfield a 5 minute walk down the road if you wanted something a bit different than the standard hot dogs, chicken strips or sausage rolls which were on offer.
