Angel Venue (Former Sazon) - Latin American Restaurant Cocktail bar — Restaurant in London

I recently dined at this fantastic Latin restaurant in London, and it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and vibrant atmosphere that instantly transported me to Latin America.

The highlight of the evening was the churrasco, a mouthwatering grilled meat dish that was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the chimichurri sauce added a delightful kick to every bite.

I also had the pleasure of trying their ceviche de camarones, which was a refreshing and tangy delight. The combination of fresh shrimp, zesty lime, and the perfect blend of spices made it a true culinary masterpiece.

The restaurant's attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the attentive and friendly staff to the beautifully presented dishes. The Latin music playing in the background added to the overall ambiance, making it a truly immersive experience.

We have been to this beautiful gem in the heart of east London I can surely say this is the best Latin restaurant in mine and my boyfriend opinion ( we have tried all the Latin restaurant In London). We have had a number of dishes and none of them disappointed from starters to mains and to finish desserts everything was spot on! This is not the average Latin food, in each dish you can see and taste that the chef has been studying every single details from pairing the flavours to the plating adding his on twist to it and making sure you can still feel the Latin sazón which he has taken to the next level! The restaurant itself it’s really beautiful too with a very charming and elegant deco. Front of house staff are very welcoming also, very attentive to any needs you might have which makes it a must visit 10 out of 10 and last but not least prices are not expensive at all for what you get a truly value for money. We were looking for a last minute table for 11 of us, it was my auntie's birthday who came to visit London, we wanted to treat her but weren't too sure where to take her as we also needed to be local to everyone in the party, (Islington area) Sazon was very accommodating and the perfect spot - they took the booking.

On the day the service was excellent, the ambience was perfect and the food was very tasty! One thing I would say for those that like their spice, this place may not be for them, unless they work on improving a hotter/better spice. The chimichurri was delicious but not hot at all - but that's a small constructive criticism. We had a fantastic night all round. The music was great too, I love listening to salsa and they played some great tunes. The cocktails were nice and strong which I really like.
