I have been wanting to visit this place for a while and I was really happy I finally got to try their brunch with a couple friends on a Saturday. I arrived at 1pm and thankfully it wasn't too busy so I was able to get a table after being greeted by a staff member. We ordered some coffee and went with the buttermilk pancakes with peanut butter and bananas with maple syrup on the side as well as the chilli scrambled eggs. Both were absolutely fantastic but I gotta say the pancakes had really left an impression on me because they were probably the best I have ever tried in London! I am saying this as someone who is enthusiastic about brunch and have tried a lot of pancakes and these were just perfection - soft, fluffy, thick with those crispy edges on the side which were such a bonus for me! Together with the extremely generous portion of crunchy peanut butter and bananas it was literally heaven in my mouth for every bite. The chilli scrambled eggs were great also but for me personally the egg's texture could have been more runny and creamy. They were a little overcooked but the lao gan ma chilli oil was such a creative addition to the eggs and chorizo! As someone who is obsessed with this chilli oil the flavour was absolutely on point with eggs and the chorizo was really flavourful too. I ordered an oat flat white which was good but a bit weak for me personally. Service was really good. Friendly and smiley staff who were clearly under a lot of pressure to cook, make coffee and serve customers. Kudos to their professionalism for remaining calm and collected at all times. Overall, I had a great time here catching up with my friends over some delicious brunch and I can't wait to come back for their pancakes and perhaps try another branch next time!

This is the best place for dinner around this area. My best friend lives close-by, and we've had Trade's sandwiches many times for lunch when working from his place, and they're amazing BUT dinner's menu and quality is so out of this world it made us reconsider all the rest of the options around. Hands down, the food and cocktails are so good we decided to make it our Friday eve treat. We started off with the corn salad, which I swear tastes like a taco if you close your eyes. We had next the halloumi salad that had so many layers to it we kept finding new ones with each bite. Then we had the cauliflower ajoblanco with canteloupe melon and serrano ham and grapes and it was a f game changer. Such a good combo of flavours that in paper seems odd but works so well. The roasted cabbage with noodles was the cherry on top before the AMAZING meringue lemon pie that was like a digestif I like to think but obviously way more delicious and reminded me of my gran's so much. All this alongside pomegranate margaritas. This place is so good I'm going to be praising about it everywhere I go! PS sorry the pic is so bad we just didn't make it in time to show the food

Went here for their soft opening dinner menu and was certainly not disappointed. Kinda like a tapas style meal with small/medium sized sharing dishes. Had a plum sour cocktail (whisky sour with a plum wine twist) and a cold fashioned (old fashioned with a nice hit of coffee liqueur), both on point. The food menu was really diverse and had quite different cuisines which I thought may have been a bit tricky but they nailed the flavours. Had the truffle cheese puffs (so good they didn’t last long enough for a photo), elote (Mexican street corn), roast cauliflower with red miso and shiitake, honey glazed lamb, and short rib meatballs on polenta. Stand outs were the lamb, cheese puffs (obviously), and the meatballs. After all that managed to fit in a basque burnt cheesecake which was so creamy, and fluffy at the same time. Will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been coming to Trade since the place first opened. My love for this local coffee place has continued to grow over the last two years. While I was on maternity leave, the staff was always patient with me and made me feel like I had a place where I could go and relax during my baby’s nap times. From expediting my food so that I could enjoy a nice meal before my baby would wake up from her nap, to always knowing my coffee order before I even had the chance to order, it’s fair to say that this place isn’t just about the food and the coffee. Trade is the type of local place that makes everyone feel like part of their family!

Some tips for planning your visit:

-Saturdays are extremely busy, so either get there early or try going in the late afternoon to truly enjoy your cup off coffee with some of their delicious pastries. Alternatively, I think grabbing a coffee to go is always nice since the coffee is pretty good if you ask me!

Their sandwiches are pretty awesome but have to say that I actually like their salads!

Say hello to the friendly staff. Christina is the nice Italian girl who’s been there since the beginning. She’s nice and truly takes the time to know her customers. The owner (don’t know her name) is also there quite often and she’s also a gem!

Finally, enjoy the experience and try as much of their menu as possible. You won’t be...
