Antonella's Cafe and Bistro — Restaurant in London

What a gem of a place it is. Lovely family run business with sweet elderly lady at the centre of it and clearly top chefs in the kitchen. Came for Sunday roast and it was possibly best one we ever had. Both chicken and lamb were perfectly made, and every single item on our plates was simply delicious (roasted potatoes, fresh mint sauce and rich gravy). That food was made with heart and dedication. My partner always gives me chicken skin as she doesn't like it, first time ever she eat it as it was in her words "perfect", and she is a top chef herself so it's a strong statement. We picked few cannoli on the way out and they were amazing, crispy pastry and tasty fillings, not to sweet and perfectly balanced flavours. We loved the whole experience and will be back for more and looking forward to some Italian dishes. Thank you...

If you never had the luxury to take advantage of Antonella's Cafe and Bistro catering service, rest assure you are missing a trick – it will be delicious. A shout out for her Kleftiko, from a fussy Greek-Cypriot, who knows the dish well. The results exceeded expectations with the kleftiko lamb shanks; marinated in wine, bay leaves and other herbs resulting into wonderfully deep flavour with amazing aromas, then slow cooked to perfection culminating to a dish which melted in your mouth. Two weeks later my guests are still singing her praises. A reasonably priced and efficient service, a huge stress reliever for anxious hosts. Thanks a million Antonella. Popped in for a late 'mini breakfast' before shopping, unfortunately the waitress appears to be short sighted and very hard of hearing/barely understood English. She could not see the menu without leaning in and squinting, so I had to repeat my order 4 times. I asked for well done and the sausages arrived cremated but the toast was barely toasted at all, just warmed bread. However the food arrived quickly and the staff were friendly. Theres space for wheelchairs, and children were welcome. Surprisingly they only accept cash or bank transfer (they do not have a card machine) which is not made clear when ordering.

However its a nice place to sit outside whilst eating and cheap parking...
