Visited for date night and was very impressed. Great location for a date as it wasn't too crowded, which meant it wasn't loud and we could have a decent conversation. We didn't have to shout to hear one another. The service was standout, we had an incredibly friendly and charming waitress who looked after us exceptionally well. The portion sizes for the food were generous, you certainly won't be going hungry. I had the spaghetti di mare which was tasty. To finish I had the tiramisu which was gorgeous! So light with a creamy mousse like texture. Really delicious! We both shared a bottle of Pecorino D'Abruzzo white wine which was lovely. It was fairly sweet for a white wine which I appreciated as I have a sweet tooth. I'd definitely return. The fact I only took one photo from the night in my case means I was having a great time.

Arte Chef exterior and interior are both very well thought out, the interior is especially nice with the comfortable seating, the pictures on the wall and the appropriate music. The woman who served us was very kind and nice, however what let this place down was us was the coffee and pastry. The black Americano I had was just okay, a little on the watery side, and my wife mocca was not that good, served in what looked like a tiny espresso cup. The croissant was dry, and old, I have a feeling it was left over night from the day before.

I went here with my girlfriend recently and wanted to her to try italian cuisine and especially gelato but unfortunate is that ice cream didn’t met my expectations. About the service I am really sad for the waiter that works there cause for this place I could see they are understaffed poor guy was trying to rush everywhere, honestly I wouldn’t want to be in his place. Even though I saw the reviews I wanted to give this place a chance,in my opinion they all have some true point that should be solved my the management.

A good place for pizza/pasta and a decent glass of wine; not so good for coffee. Let me clarify: the coffee is very good, it's just that you'll be lucky to find any pastries after 10am. I 've mentioned this oversight, over a number of years to the frequently-changing staff, and most recently, some 2-3 years ago, to the chef/manager; answer = hubris and indifference. People like to come in for Tea/coffee throughout the day as well - they don't seem to get this, and consequently don't have any decent cakes/pastries available. When in Rome? ..... I know that many more people would visit here if they had a proper cake/pastry section. Where are the Dolce - sfogliatelle, zeppole, bomboloni and so on? Barnes has lots of competition when it comes to Cafés and restaurants, and I fear that if this place doesn't respond to the locals or common sense, then as always people with not come, and this potentially good café/restaurant will close. Staff could be more friendly, but perhaps their attitude is symptomatic of something deeper rooted? Good luck! I will try again, and give an update in 2019. If you like then please 👍 ..

As a regular customer, I feel the need to respond to the below reviews because I’ve had a very different experience at this place. What’s being said here doesn’t seem fair or accurate at all. It’s clear that this person is upset because they were fired for not doing their job well, and now they’re trying to get back at the owner by posting false claims.

I’ve never witnessed anything close to what’s described in these reviews. The staff are always treated with respect, and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The idea that the owner is yelling at people in front of customers is just not true from what I’ve seen. I’ve been here often enough to know how the place is run.

It’s really unfortunate that someone would write something like this just because they were let go. In hospitality, sometimes schedules change, especially when things get slow, and that’s just how the business works. This seems more like personal frustration than an honest reflection of the place.

As a loyal customer, I can say with confidence that this restaurant is nothing like what’s being described here, and I’ll continue to...

We have visited Arte Pizza for the first time today, before our cinema visit across the read... well where to start:

The service was simply amazing, it was extremely busy, my husband and I were welcomed by the gentleman named Vulcan, he was very sweet, introduced us to the menu and helped us with decisions, being treated this well whilst the place was completely full, so having served by staff who are always smiling and helpful felt amazing. Glad to see them being able to handle pressure super well. Good for them.

We had Calamari to start with which was amazing followed with two pizza Rebby and a Salamin pizza which were cooked perfectly and we finished it off with a home made Tiramisu, simply no complaints put a smile on our face before our movie.

Also they have great variety of wines, we had 2 red wines and they were brilliant.

I will be coming back to this place, Thank you...
