The art kitchen is located inside the musical Conservatoire building which is very convenient for me to take my daughter to play at the sand pit. The fruit tea is nice, and the blueberry muffins is the best in the village I think ( It is soft, nice and juicy with blueberry jams inside). The coffee is nice too. The shop owner is very helpful and generous, always over filled my cup with tea or coffee and sometimes gives us a freebies The prices is reasonable compared with others. It is lovely to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee with blueberry muffin and watch my daughter playing happily. Highly recommended!

One of the very few authentic, high-quality, family-run cafes left in Blackheath. The Arts Cafe is an absolute gem in the area. The tortilla, toasties, pasta, pastries, and coffee are all excellent. We love visiting on a weekly basis. It's very family-friendly, with outdoor/indoor seating, games, books, and sandpits for kids. As well, they have a nice selection of wines and beers for an early aperitivo. Thanks, Fran and Anna, for bringing good food to the area and bringing the community together in your space.

March 2025: It has been on my list for a while. The vibe is amazing. Very cozy and friendly for families. There is an area outside for kids to play. We tried the veg panini which was delicious. Crispy bread with balanced veggies. Love it 😃 Coffee however was disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed the time spent.

Highly recommend! Warm house, delicious food and incredible kind and friendly owner! Thank you, Fran. I was pleased to see and talk with you. As a Chinese student who has been living in the UK for four months, I find myself feeling anxious and worried about speaking freely with strangers. The owner is a great listener and communicator, and our conversations have been very enjoyable. I've gained a lot of confidence, and I'm very grateful to you! Wishing you and your family peace, health, happiness, and...
