B Grill — Restaurant in London

We arrived here by mistake, me and the wife. We were searching for a Portuguese restaurant in Harlesden that we loved over 10 years ago, when we were still living in London. There is a large Portuguese/ Brazilian community there. The restaurant is unassuming, with no sign or name outside (we actually passed it without noticing on our way there). The initial appetisers we chose (Portuguese sausage) was... Excellent, they also have a small grocery inside and you can buy them to take home!!. We loved it. Then I ordered the pork ...steak with saida and fries, and the wife beef 26th rice and salad and fries. My steak was... not Excellent... it was tasting like.. the steak was been cooked several days before and kept in the fridge, the coating was oily and the oil was tasting like it was been reused several times. Her beef was also tasteless, chewy and not fresh. The fries.. were like they were been reheated after have been cooked a few days before. The price was OK... but the quality of the food..mhe.. the place was with a good atmosphere with a lot of Portuguese old folks chatting, looking me like a family owned local bar. So sorry we were disappointed by the food, as the vibes were there, as family restaurant. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes and my (poor) Spanish which I was using to communicate (do not speak Portuguese) was probably not enough. Wound we come back?? Probably not.. but you can try any other dish , or maybe just...

Great food but bad experience. Firstly they forgot to put our order through to the kitchen, so we waited a very long time. Then they forgot a second beer order and needed to be reminded. Then when our food came out the order was wrong, first one dish was chicken instead of pork, another was served as a main when we asked for petiscos, and all had oil on when we asked them not to add any after. This would have been okay if they had attempted to rectify it or take it off our bill, but nothing was done despite complaining (except 2 free coffees, but this really didn't make up for the experience). Tive uma experiência verdadeiramente excelente neste restaurante. Desde o primeiro momento senti uma vibe genuinamente portuguesa, acolhedora e calorosa, que nos fez sentir em casa. Gostaria de destacar, em especial, o atendimento do António, que foi simplesmente impecável. Demonstrou uma enorme sensibilidade e atenção no serviço ao cliente, sempre com uma simpatia e gentileza que marcaram a diferença.

A comida estava maravilhosa – pratos bem confeccionados, com sabores autênticos e ingredientes de qualidade, tudo servido com um cuidado notável. O ambiente do restaurante também contribuiu muito para a experiência: confortável, agradável e com uma atmosfera que convida a desfrutar da refeição com calma.

Foi, sem dúvida, uma combinação perfeita entre boa comida, excelente serviço e um espaço muito bem conseguido. Recomendo vivamente e certamente voltarei!

I had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we felt an authentic Portuguese vibe – warm, welcoming, and full of charm. I would especially like to highlight the exceptional service provided by António. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and showed great sensitivity and genuine care for customer service, which really made a difference.

The food was absolutely delicious – beautifully prepared dishes with authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients, all served with great attention to detail. The atmosphere of the restaurant also added so much to the experience: cozy, pleasant, and the perfect setting to enjoy a relaxed meal.

It was the perfect combination of great food, outstanding service, and a lovely space. I highly recommend it and will definitely be...
