My recent visit to SAMAK in London was nothing short of delightful. Located in a cozy corner of the city, this Egyptian seafood restaurant truly stands out with its exceptional offerings and warm ambiance.

From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the grilled fish.

The seafood soup was another standout dish. Rich and hearty, it featured a harmonious blend of fresh seafood that created a symphony of flavors in every spoonful. The balance of spices and ingredients was impeccable, making it one of the best seafood soups we’ve ever had.

The seating is nice , go to the seating at the back The staff were friendly

I would personally recommend few plates :

Boury sengary: it’s how it’s called in Egypt , Grilled fish open and there are different ways of preparing but with vegetables inside , was very delicious and filling

Talipa / Boulty - Grilled with Bran from outside , nice and simple , soft fish

Fried prawns/ shrimps : were great Fried Calamari : Reasonable Seafood soup : not bad

The ones I didn’t like

1 - Tajin of Seafood : was dry 2- Fried Barbouni ( red fish ) was also dry 3- Even the rice was dry

The price was slightly high , but reasonable for the amount of food...
