I had been wanting to give this place a go since a friend had mentioned it to me a few months ago. So I finally got the chance to go there with another friend. After giving the menú a good look I decided to go for the Bibembap and opted to have beef with it. The dish came along rather quickly, seen as most of prepered in advance and it was room temperature. The egg on top was cooked to order though. I had never tried this dish before and I quite enjoyed it. There was plenty of tasty marinated beef on the plate which is always a good start and the rice and all the veggies were well seasoned and all complemented the dish really well. So all in all I was very pleased with my meal. I just thought it was odd that when you go to pay before you eat they add the service charge to your bill...I hadn't had any service from them at that point, so what if I hadn't been happy with it? Read moreWe were in the area and found this newly opened spot. Staffs were super friendly, helpful, explained their menu, and asked if we have any food allergies. We ordered their Prawn Tempura Udon (noodle soup), Bulgogi (beef) Kimbap, Cheese Kimbap, Ddubokki, Korean hotdog, and Korean hotdog with sweet potatoes (both with sugar and ketchup). There’s 5 tables in the shop for dine in seating so we decided to dine in. It was good to hear the commotions in the kitchen getting our orders ready. The staff bought our food to our table and asked if we needed extra plate or bowls since we were sharing. Everything tasted good and home made. We left with a happy belly and will visit again next...
Read moreThe interior is very cozy and clean, the server was very friendly and most of all the food was delicious, a good selection and reasonable prices for rather generous portions. I had the stir fried rice cakes (ddukbokki) and a korean cheese corn dog, both of which were absolutely delicious and the rice cakes themselves were not too spicy for me (subjectively), just enough that they hit the spot. Happy to see a korean restaurant near Epsom because it's one of my favourite cuisines and I hope that the restaurant does well and stays around for very long. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you like korean food or wanted to try it, I recommend...
