Cafe Delight — Restaurant in London

So as it goes for the staff they are very polite and professional who had my meal prepared in 5 minutes

Now for the food. I ordered one lamb roast and one beef roast dinner.

Both dinners came with carrots, pees, broccoli and cauliflower and roast potatoes. They give you amble of all veg. Sided with an extra pot of gravy and a single Yorkshire puddings.

Now overall the meal was decent for the price of £6.99. But there are some down sides. Both meats had been cooked for a long time meaning they had flavour but lost they meatiness. The gravy is a generic gravy used for all meats which makes most of the meal taste the same. And all the veg is frozen.

Now that may sound like a down side which it is but their is a saying in life, you pay for what you get. And here you pay £6.99 and you get a £6.99 roast .

This place is consistently awesome. I live nearby and visit often for a full english, a jacket potato or an omelette.

The place is clean, the portion sizes are excellent and the prices are good. At the time of writing the cafe has a 5 star food hygiene rating which is more than can be said for a lot of other places.

Attention to detail is great. I just got a jacket with beans and cheese to take away. The cheese is on the jacket in one box (along with a nice fresh salad) and the beans has been put in a separate pot so it doesn't get messy on the journey home.

Superb service. Its a shame they are not open later - i'd be happy to eat here 3...

Visited here today & excellent service as always. Cafe is kept spotlessy clean & food is always carefully prepared & well presented.

Visited recently & as always, made 2 feel special. Enjoyed regular choice with steaming hot cup of tea in beautifully clean café; it doesn't get any better than this. Thanku Café Delight.
