I was so shocked by what happened today

I used to be a regular customer and I decided to drop by because I remembered they had something cheap (Also because we get along quite well)

They remembered me instantly and although our conversation wasn’t as long as before (It has been months since I have seen them)

Our main part of the conversation was that I wasn’t doing so good because my bank account was low and I put a product on the counter and said “This is all I can afford anyway”

Afterwards I was told that they’d buy me one with THEIR MONEY

I was shocked to hear this as they don’t seem like rich people and nobody was holding a camera so they obviously weren’t saying it for likes or views

I was just given a baguette for free, I genuinely couldn’t believe my ears (or my eyes for that matter)

I didn’t even ask them nor did I complain about having a low income, I just mentioned it could be better and suddenly I got FREE FOOD

They are the type of people to help others in need and although their price are about 3 times more than a meal deal, the quality and nutrition is at least 20 times better

If I ever become rich, I’m definitely donating...

Not the most vegetarian / vegan friendly place.

Could do with more vegetarian and vegan options, the menu is a bit too meat 🍖 orientated. I'm by no means a full-time vegan or vegetarian, but like many these days, have massively REDUCED the amount of meat I consume on a weekly basis, so much prefer to have a bigger choice of vegetarian and vegan options when eating out and about. The one of 3 vegetarian options I did have was reasonably good though. The staff weren't overly warming. Because of the 2 reasons above, I've given it a 3 star.

Please REDUCE the number of meat-based options and INCREASE the number of vegetarian and vegan options...

We have just moved to Bow and we visited this shop at the weekend. Thank god we found it before we settled on somewhere else to eat. This place is brilliant!! The food was great ( I had the salmon and my wife had the home made salt beef) The flat whites were one of the best we have ever had and trust me we drink a LOT of coffee. We had a wander and then went back to try their home made cheese cake which had coconut in it ( genius).I cannot recommend this place enough.
