Beijing Garden — Restaurant in London

Today I placed an order and spent £48 I was missing one item. I wasn’t asking for a refund I was asking for the time and the person on the phone accused me of lying, of taking the item out and how she was so sure she packed it. Yet no sweet and sour chicken in my bag. Told me there’s nothing she can do, and that I’m lying made me count all of the items to her and still persisted to call me a liar because she packed the bag herself. Saying I was trying to get money out of them. May I add I didn’t ask for a refund like I said, I wanted the item that I didn’t receive. Don’t bother going here again, she’s rude and unprofessional. Never will I go here again. Ever. I will be contacting just eat as well. Worst part is I was literally just asking for the item, no refund and she kept trying to tell me I hid it. Why would I lie about not having an item, fair enough if I was asking for a refund. I wasn’t. I wanted my food to eat with my partner. Told me I don’t know how to speak to people when she come on the phone trying to tell me I’m hiding the food and that I’ve actually got it. Delusional worker, rude, unprofessional and clearly...

If I could give zero I would. Order placed at 5.40pm with arrival due 6.37pm. Food arrived 20 mins after that.

Called the restaurant who was very dismissive and rude and blamed me for the traffic my side of the A10 and also said the driver would have made multiple stops.

Driver was on a bike, Google maps showed no traffic.

As well as me being blamed for the traffic the Complaint on phone resulted being offered 10% off next order (it’s already 10% off the website). Discount increased to 20%. Advised I wanted a refund for that percentage and was told no.

Food arrived cold and rubbery. No flavour to the squid and satay sauce very oily, being inedible for us.

We will not be ordering from there again. If the owner is reading this we would appreciate the refund.

Usually my go to for tasty Chinese, but today was really bad, we ordered rice,noodles,spring rolls and sweet and sour chicken (2 of everything). The chicken was inedible- we couldnt even bite through it and had to throw both portions away as it wasn’t fully cooked, in addition to a hair in one portion. Really upsetting after waiting 1hr 30 mins. No sauce either so rolls and chicken were completely dry. Portion of chicken was tiny for the price also. Looks like we are starving tonight!
