It was my favourite cafe, one of my favourite chains in London. We were regular there, buying staples, all birthday cakes and having treats there with my daughter. Till the lady who introduced herself as a manager jumped on me and my daughter, for not asking whether we can use a toilet... btw, it was a busy Sat morning with a queue and two busy servers with her included behind the Till. I passed by as my 3 year old exclaimed that she needs a toilet. I am not saying that l shouldn't have asked. But to leave a cafe full of ppl and rushing towards a pregnent woman with a toddler and telling her off with a smirky manner was just a very unusual and off putting experience. West Norwood has a great community feel, we all support local businesses and everyone around know each other. This behavior, the unnecessary unpleasant interaction was so disappointing. This is literally my first bad review in my life. Unfortunately not getting back there due to...

I am sad to say that whenever I went to Blackbird bakery at West Norwood outlet the staff is often stressed out and looks rather glum. Well I would at least appreciate my smile and morning greet could be returned and not look away. The members of staff who served me today looked away when I smiled and stayed glum the entire time. Perhaps she is not well and having a difficult morning! That must be it! Nevertheless, It would be nice if the person serving understood the importance of good feeling when serving food. I sometimes visit the Streatham Branch and have a great experience eating in. The staff there are really helpful and friendly often recommending tasty treats too. I hope my review helps to improve the service and not feel discouraged!...

I feel these grumps could have spared their own misery by recognising they were ordering something in a shop that was at capacity - this is because it is way better than anything nearby.
I would suggest that if they lack the sincerity to engage with the customer interface that is typical with any independent business who prioritise the quality of their product, then Greggs knocks out turgid offerings of preservative-rich filth at a very...
