Boba & Co — Restaurant in London

I was told about this place from a friend and how it's teas were very bad and I had to taste it for myself. I came to this 2 times now. The first time my experience the atmosphere of the place was pleasant and the interior is beautiful I ordered 3 bobas all different to taste and found them to be extremely sub-par. For the amount I recieve the price for a regular was not worth it and its better to get a large which was significantly larger. The overall taste of the drinks were extremely bitter with small hints of flavour it would have been a lot better had the establishment offered 2 toppings where you can have the popping bubbles and the tapioca but I understand its a new place and deliveries are delayed and they need to get a rough idea on how much to stock. It would also be appreciated if someone asked how much sugar I would like in the tea and if I wanted Ice.

The second time I arrived a couple weeks after with the intent of reviewing the place. It was a dark cloudy day and I walked into the store were the lights were off and found the atmosphere extremely cold I ordered a dragonfruit tea which out of my 3 taster drinks was the one I least disliked. I asked if there was an option for how much sugar I can have and was then informed there's is an option to decide that! I asked for lots of sugar and no ice. And the order came out wrong.

The atmosphere is amazing just turn the lights on.

The staff are friendly but just ask a few questions about the order so people can customise it instead of giving the default.

The Teas taste extremely bitter so I recommend having them put sugar into it but the tapioca was still hot when I felt it and so it's freshly cooked.

Overall the experience was still disappointing. And I personally feel like 3 stars was...

I've been ordering their drinks & desserts for months now. Here's a review of some of my faves:

Strawberry tea + lychee jelly + passion fruit popping boba - this is amazing. OmG the first time I had this I told my friend that it was the best cold drink I've ever tasted. No other drink has changed my mind. Just try it! The Valentine's crepe - who thought of putting the rose petals on that beauty? That's amazing man, it smelled and tasted so good. Something about that white choc + strawberry combination is just delicious. I recommend you order it or if you're looking at this review after Valentine's- order their strawberry crepe. Ferrero roche waffle - just look at the pic. My husband's reaction to this was 'it tastes like a giant ferrero'. Smelled amazing too! Karak chai - love it! Got me through the winter months.

I had a classic regular, the tapioca pear weren't cooked enough. I like the fact it wasn't too sweet but it wasn't very tasty either. Charging £4.50 for a regular is a lot, that's what I pay in the bigger chains were quality is guaranteed, due to the the price I had greater expectations. This makes it one of the most expensive bubble tea in the Greenwich area, on par with what Chinatown big brand charges.
