AMAZING RESTAURANT!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND EXCELLENT FOOD . We were here last night dining in table for 2 and had an amazing evening. Asad the owner was so friendly and we were chatting to him for ages. The tarka dhall and the cheese and chilli Nan bread , the curries , the dips , the lamb chops and king prawn, the Sri Lankan mutton rolls . EVERYTHING WAS JUST AMAZING and so tasty and beautifully presented. A lot of effort by Asad lemon slices in drinks and lovely customer service and lovely touches throughout evening. Much appreciate it and thank you . We used to go regularly to the Purley one and loved it. We were so happy to see the other waiter from Purley branch suddenly appear at the Coulsdon branch. His face also lit up when he saw us. I wish people would realise this isn’t your average Indian restaurant with traditional curries . The menu has a real twist to it and it’s more Sri Lankan / South Indian than a typical Bangladeshi style Indian cuisine. Also I am aghast to read some of the reviews how people have ordered food and clearly eaten it and still phone back the restaurant making a complaint to simply get their money back so they end up with both, the food and their money back. Terrible behaviour towards a small business and so selfish of people. Asad has the best customer service skills I’ve ever come across in any restaurant or take away and he makes effort to really reach out to customers so some customers clearly just take the mick. We shall be back to dine in again next week and have already worked out what we will be ordering. Keep up the FABULOUS FOOD AND SERVICE Bombaylicious. Xxxxx ā¤ļø

Friday night is takeaway night! I fancied some good Indian cuisine and the name 'Bombaylicious' came to mind as it had been highly recommended by a trusted friend who had ordered from there previously. All I can say is that the food was simply outstanding! Being a vegetarian, I had ordered (and highly recommend) the Aloo Tikki Chaat, Vegetable Biriani, Paneer Butter Masala, Chilly & Garlic Naan and Poppadoms with raita chutney dips. The spice level in the paneer and biriani was just right for my palete and flavours so well balanced, I didn't require any condiments. Living in Chelsea I'm a frequent diner at some of the award winning Indian restaurants around Knightsbridge and Mayfair and I must say Bombaylicious cuisine is on par with the finest. Was it worth the 1 hour 20 minutes round trip to Coulsdon to pick up the food? Absolutely! Looking forward to trying the other vegetarian dishes on the growing menu!

Food is good as always, no doubt about that.... Would give 5 stars but because of the wraps I give it a 3 (& that's being generous)... I would advise peeps to STAY AWAY FROM THE WRAPS!!.... Absolutely abysmal & it was the first time trying it!.... Very disappointed to say the least!.... You would think considering the price, you would get something large & packed but rather instead you recieve 1 piece of a seekh kebab rolled in a naan as opposed to a few.... It was soggy & broken, it had to be rerolled šŸ˜¶šŸ˜‘....Practically a kids meal so to speak.... Hopefully they acknowledge this & change the method because it certainly wasn't worth the price, especially considering what you get šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

I have been ordering food from here now.for a while generally they quality has been good however my last few orders have not been good. Yesterday I ordered 2 Sheek Kebab Nanwhich and 2 fries. The kebabs tastes like they had been defrosted dry and not cooked fresh there was no sald just loads of onion. There was a lack of sauce invthe kebab I recall that they normally supply a sauce on the side which was missing. The fries tasted bad again tasted stale and cooked in oil that was off lets just say taht mist of the food was thrown away. It is disappointing to see that the quality has dropped I previously contacted them direectly previously about a previously order and I was told next time I ordered they would replace the item this has never happend it seems that they have focused on dropping quality than what made the restaurant good original. I am very disappointed by this place now.

In response to your reply in which you state that I should have mentioned the raw chana masala and raw nan was mentioned in a previous visit were I told the person and that you would provide me with a replacement he ignored me when I mrntioned this. I am concerned you do not value customer service a 5 star for a petrol service is because they service you well and do what they say. You mentioned free beer however this is an offer that you state so please do not insult me with your lies. I did not ask for a discount however I asked about the descrprency in the pricing probably beacaue of they defrosted kebab and chips that stank of old oil. I suggest that you look at how you service the customers of Coulsdon as your purley baranch has shut no doubt due to the poor level of service and insulting comments.

As mentioned previously I did raise my concerns previously to you by email stating I enjoyed the food however as you have no value for customer service but instead pride yourself looking up reviews and comparing feed back to a petrol station. You should have looked at my reviews of restaurants in South Croydon who I have given 5...

I can't rate atmosphere as I've never eaten in, just ordered out, but the food is... genuinely the best Indian food I've ever eaten. And I'm Indian myself! Even my own father had to concede it was better than his cooking and I've never heard give up his title as best Indian cook before. The curries are phenomenal, so so flavoursome. even if you get a milder dish like butter chicken or chicken tikka, every bite is a flavour explosion. And the hotter dishes are gorgeous, a slow building heat (their Rajasthani lamb curry!) and so much flavour and the most tender juicy meat! Never had a chewy bit - just tender, melt in your mouth lamb and chicken that breaks apart with little effort. It IS expensive but 10000% worth it, you don't get this level of quality for cheap. It's one place I will always splurge on mainly because every new dish I try is heaven and I can't make my mind up anymore. I used to not even really like biryani much but their lamb biryani changed my life - I crave the stuff! I started of trying their naanwiches and thinking they were a 10/10 and eventually moving onto ordering a curry, not realising their curries were out of this world delicious and creamy and flavoursome and I had to give them a 20/10. I know it seems a bit over the top but honestly, I can't believe they don't have the hype they deserve because the food is so damn good. You will not regret eating here - I've never had a bad experience...
