Brothers Bakery — Restaurant in London

For me this place does the best coffee in South East London.

Whether you are drinking in or taking away, the flavour, temperature and smoothness is consistently on point. Wish I knew the secret.

The food options are vast and all freshly homemade.

There are your classic sweet patisserie products as well as a range of home made cakes, sweet pies and muffins. For bread you can grab loaves of sourdough, tin and levain or enjoy baguettes and rolls. Fortunately (for me) though, this bakery goes one step further than others around and has created a lovely array of savoury options. Personal favourites include the Brothers' take on a McMuffin and their spinach Borek. You can also enjoy well crafted sandwich fillings within the aforementioned sourdough - toasted on request as well as some hot food options (cooked breakfast, soups etc.)

The above staples are also complemented by well thought out, seasonal specials which is a lovely touch. It takes strong willpower to resist the food and "only" enjoy the coffee.
