Brouhaha — Restaurant in London

Went here with friends for a night cap following a lovely meal along Green Lanes. The decor - ambience and drinks were all “ok” but the service we received from a female member of the bar team was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced (having previously run bar training schemes in the past across the country). We ordered 2 cocktails off the menu and they were delivered to our table...no, dumped on the table without an acknowledgement of “here you are, enjoy guys” or “a margarita and an old fashioned?”....nothing, they were dumped on the side of the table and she walked off. This was following a very solemn no-smile service we received at the bar. We hadn’t been rude, difficult. It wasn’t busy etc.. perhaps we weren’t cool enough a customer for this establishment?! No place for this service in a public-facing job such as this. I’m sure the rest of the staff are perfectly lovely (although I caught the eye of many and none seemed to be that forwarding of a smile!) - I don’t like giving bad reviews but people need to be told that it only takes one bad point of contact such as this and you lose custom - such as mine and any...

I recently moved to the area and stumbled across this lovely venue, which turned out to be a real gem! The buzzing atmosphere immediately drew me in, and I was impressed by the fantastic cocktail list at the bar and the delicious Japanese-inspired menu from the kitchen.

My friend and I ordered the Salmon katsu curry and stir-fried thin noodles with chicken, prawns, and vegetables. The portions were generous, and the food was absolutely delicious—full of flavour and perfectly cooked.

The interiors were another highlight, with stylish decor and a great vibe throughout. I particularly loved the music and was intrigued by the secret library door leading to the outdoor smoking area—a quirky and fun touch!

This place is definitely a contender for becoming one of my regular spots. Highly recommend for a great night out with good food, drinks,...

Sushi is amazing here. It tastes fresh all the time I go. I only get the sushi here as that's all the gluten-free options they've got. They provide a Gluten-free soy source here too. The staff are generally nice and friendly here. Have not met a zombie person working as of yet, great sign 🙌 They offer really fun mocktails if you don't feel like getting tipsy. I had one with the name that had "Dr." in it and that was delicious, nearly ordered another but we had to get up the next day so didn't stay for another drink. Though, they have a great atmosphere and vibes. Fun music playlists - it was a 90s theme the last time I went.
