Love the sandwiches and coffee and come here regularly. We have tried almost all of the sandwiches on the menu and can’t fault them.
I really enjoy the café overall, but I do have one consistent gripe — the opening hours. On several occasions, I've arrived just after 7am (when the café is meant to open at 7am), only to find it still closed or not yet ready for customers. Sometimes there's no one around at all, and other times staff are still unpacking boxes of bread and pastries, with furniture still stacked up.
If the stated opening time is 7am, I would expect to be able to walk in and find everything ready to go at that time. On a few occasions, even by 7:15am, things still weren’t fully set up, and I’ve ended up heading over to Gail’s or B&B instead.
It would really improve the experience if the café were genuinely ready for customers at the advertised...

I ordered the vegan sandwich and it would’ve been great to have a few more veggie ingredients in there since it was mainly cheese and pesto which was yum but lacked actual substance I feel?
