Edit from August 2025 We’ve eaten at this place probably at least 30 times over the past 2 years. We always order the same pizza (Bufala margarita) and it was a good solid pizza and restaurant. We visited the restaurant again today and had the worst experience we had in any restaurant in London. If I could give zero stars I would. The staff seem to have changed. It started from the moment we came in and it was obvious staff isn’t focused as no one came to the front to sit us. We ordered the same pizza as always, Bufala margarita. We waited a bit and then got the wrong pizza, Bufala special. The moment it came we said it’s not what we ordered, since this pizza has meat on it and ordinary mozzarella + fresh Bufala mozzarella (vs our usual pizza which is only Bufala mozzarella which is cooked). The waitress took the pizza back to the kitchen, and then came back to us and insisted we eat it anyways and ‘just remove the meat’. Since we’ve eaten there many times we wanted to be nice we tried that, and we asked to at least pay the price of the pizza we did order which is lower and the waitress said yes. The flavor of meat was very strong, and the normal mozzarella with uncooked Bufala mozzarella mix just doesn’t work. We didn’t eat one pizza and even though the waitress passed by our table at least 6 times she didn’t ask how is the pizza even though she saw I wasn’t eating. When the bill came it had the higher price of the wrong pizza. We asked them to change to the price of what we did order, and instead they just gave a 2£ discount, which doesn’t cover the difference. We asked them again, and then the manager came and started raising her voice and arguing with us insisting that we did order the Bufala special, even though we said we ate there many times and always order the same. I even showed her the pizza on the menu and the difference in price. She continued raising her voice and arguing so we paid the lower price of what we did order and left. We will never eat here again, this was the worst experience that we had in the UK, that just got worse as the experience progressed. This manager should not work in hospitality.
Original review from 2023 Good pizza with good dough, fast and pleasant service, clean restaurant and bathroom, great vibes,...
Read moreEdit post business response: Responses are always good to see as it shows a business cares about customer feedback. Sadly passive aggressive defensive ones are less welcome. I’m aware no direct delivery, hence I tried a different delivery partner this time to see if it was better. I’m also aware of delivery partners being somewhat out of business control, hence I stated I understand it’s partly due to delivery company. Thanks for education also but again, I do know the base is not supposed to be crispy. It is not however supposed to be soggy but I believe this will be due to the wait time for it to be collected given the 60 second cook time translated to almost 60 minute arrival time. Delivery partner feedback is surely important also in order to be able to feed that back to them. Regardless of how the customer received the product it is a representation of your product and I thought an honest review with pictures would therefore be useful. Trying to shame a customer based on current difficult times is ridiculous, we’re all well aware of the situation and I work in hospitality myself, part of the reason I’m ordering much more takeaway than normal to try and support the sector. Not expecting a further response, hope you have a successful year ahead especially as and when we get to reopen properly...maybe I will try a collection another time!
Ordered for the first time well over a year ago and had to wait so long for delivery never got round to using it again, after all there are a lot of amazing pizza places (luckily for us!) around north London now. Finally decided to try again today and was reminded why it had been avoided. Almost an hour for a pizza is way too long, especially when it then arrives mildly warm, soggy and thrown in to the box. Understand this will partly be due to delivery company however it’s twice now and using two delivery partners. Two stars instead of one because despite poor quality, soggy dough and issues with delivery and temperature, pizza does taste a lot better...
Read moreDisgusting Pizza - Terrible Service My friend and I were seated near the open door on 7/7/19. Asked if the door could be closed by a few inches - told "No, if you don't like it sit somewhere else". Tried to order coffee. Told the coffee machine was broken. No apology just bluntly told no coffee available. Asked for tap water but none available, told to order still water for £2.00 - we declined. We should have left. Instead, we ordered a Margerita pizza each. Listed as vegetarian, not sure if it was though, as a vegetarian version of mozzarella topping was listed separately so we ordered that. When the pizza arrived it looked like a gel-like shrimp dish - it was runny and resembled blood speckled vomit. Tomato paste had no taste whatsoever. So-called mozzarella tasted of salty soap, not cheese. It was virtually inedible (which my friend agreed was the case) but since it was her birthday I wanted to avoid any unpleasantness especially as the waitress was so disagreeable. We ate it. The so-called waitress handed us the bill and asked if we enjoyed our meal. I said no we didn't, it was absolutely awful. She ignored my remark. The restaurant had the audacity to add a service charge. WHAT SERVICE? Unpleasant, hostile attitude. No water. No coffee. DISGUSTING pizza. Aware that we thought our meal was awful but didn't care as long as they got their money, inc. charge for non-existent service. Total rip off. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Would have given zero stars...
