Yesterday could have been a misery. 4am I left home to pick up a well travelled son from Gatwick, to find he was a no show. His flight from Beijing could give me no info, and eventually we found that Air China had put him on the next flight for the UK. He was due in a 5.20pm. I was with my 2 teenagers who had come for the welcome, to find they were looking at all day waiting instead. I was anxious about my eldest missing person.
We found ourselves at Term 2, a few hours early. Being country bumpkins from Norfolk we had no idea what to expect. What we found exceeded all we thought might be available. We bought new books from WHSmith, and settled down for a wonderful time. My son enjoyed the sofa, and my daughter loved the comfy chairs. I just felt so much better.( we might have wished for a fire place, but hey, you can't have everything in life!!) Smoothies and sandwiches, coffee, tea and cake. It didn't seem to matter how long we were there. The staff were friendly, smiling and helpful. It might become a destination in itself. WELL DONE CAFFE NERO. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!

Read moreI clearly asked the barista for a coconut mocha to have in and a croissant. Instead, he gave me a large takeaway cup without even asking. Having in means it should have been served in a ceramic cup, but he just flipped the drink into one, causing it to spill over the sides and onto the saucer. The mocha itself was very bland and watery, almost like no chocolate was added. On top of that, instead of a croissant, he gave me a pain au chocolat and insisted that it was a croissant – showing a clear lack of training. The tables were also left dirty, with no one bothering to clean them. I will attach pictures for reference.
My girlfriend ordered milkshake and espresso. We could see coffee grounds in espresso 🤮. Unhygienic and very unprofessional would not recommend...
Read moreI visit cafe nero heathrow bus station about once every 3 weeks due to work which requires me to fly from t1, even though arriving to Heathrow bus station is a little out my way.
I've enjoyed my experience for the last 5 years... Evita & Swetlana. Joyce And the whole team are always so welcoming. To my surprise after my 4th trip to get my favourite white chocolate mocha.. they even remembered I order it with soya milk. Such an important part of my drink which they remember every single time I arrive without having to say. This type of service is impeccable.
Thank you so much to the Heathrow bus station cafe nero team, you make my experience everytime a...
