This was one of my favourite brunch places but it has seriously gone downhill, The menu has changed and service was poor. The food lacked flavour and wasn’t worth £15 each. We ordered 3 English breakfasts and one of the breakfasts didn’t have sourdough toast by mistake (pictured) but it took 3 conversations with the waitress to explain the toast was missing. She brought the plate back saying sorry they don’t have gluten free toast when that’s not what I asked. She eventually returned with toast on the plate but it was hard and cold. They forgot my daughters food and it still hadn’t arrived after everyone else had finished their food. I had given my plate to my daughter because she wasn’t happy about not having her own plate. Even though she’s not fond of anything on my plate. So we both barely ate. I asked them twice where hers was and they said it’s on its way. All we asked for her was jam and toast, hummus and carrot / cucumber sticks. They clearly forgot and it was just a shambles. We also ordered pancakes but it was a cake in a pancake shape. I can’t say I enjoyed anything about my experience, the waitress did offer free items on the house as an apology but it was too little too late. Offering my 1year old a chocolate muffin for forgetting her breakfast isn’t appropriate. The bill came to an eye watering £85 for a very very mediocre breakfast with poor service. They didn’t charge us for the meal they didn’t bring us or the jam & toast they brought over late. We would have been better off elsewhere.

So today we was invited by @cafe.rodi in east London really easy to get too.

So we got there the staff was amazing really knew how to give good customer service everything was done in. A timely manner and was checking up on us to see if there was anything we needed most places don't do this. They gave a little tour of the venue its a really nice it has a different classy vibe. I would say this @cafe.rodi is perfect for breakfast or lunch there somthing for everyone

We orderd Extra Cheesy BLT Beef Burger, Tuscan Crramy Chicken Pasta, Calamari

Calamari -Battered & deep fried squid, seasoned with salt, pepper & herbs and served  with sauce. It was a good calamari that batter was the hero cant really go wrong with it

Extra Cheesy BLT Beef Burger-227g Homemade Beef Patty with Turkey Bacon, 2 Cheeses, Onion, Tomato, Lettuce and our famous Rodi. So the burger was the highlight of the day everything in the buger went so well together the beef was just wow you could tell it was high quality and the 2 patty were a good size if you decide to go @cafe.rodi this is what i would say you have to try

Tuscan Crramy Chicken Pasta -

Diced Chicken Pieces, cooked in a creamy sauce with  sundried tomatoes, spinach, red pepper flakes and parmesan Taking the first bit from my pasta I was truly amazed on how lovely it was and delicious too!

I would definitely go again and recommend it well worth trying even though we had the lunch next time i go i will try the brunch option as they...

I've recently made Café Rodi one of my go-to spots. I usually arrive with my laptop, order a perfectly made café latte or a refreshing iced tea, and settle in for a productive stretch. Around lunchtime, I treat myself to something from their menu, and every dish I’ve tried so far has been fresh, flavourful, and satisfyingly light—ideal for staying energised through the afternoon. That said, there’s something on the menu for everyone—even if you're arriving with a serious appetite. Everyone who works there is consistently kind and welcoming, creating a space that’s easy to return to again and again. Whether you're after a relaxed corner to work or a delicious bite in a warm setting, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this...

I recently visited this coffee house, and it was an absolute delight! The moment you walk in, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee that fills the entire space, instantly setting the mood for a relaxing experience. The coffee itself is fantastic - smooth, flavourful, and clearly made with care. The ambiance is lively and welcoming, with just the right amount of buzz from the other customers. The furniture setup is perfect for small groups, whether you’re with 2 or 4 people. The seating is comfortable and thoughtfully arranged to allow for both conversation and space in between. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with a warm atmosphere, great coffee, and a setup that works well for individual or small group of friends.

We came for a quick bite and we were pleasantly surprised by the choices on the menu and the great quality of food. We were 2 with my husband and our newborn in a pram, there was space to accommodate which is great. We had the egg/spinach/halloumi bagel and the Nutella pancakes. Both were delicious! The latte and flat white were tasty too. The staff was also very nice and helpful. The only thing for me was the atmosphere and decoration which could be a bit more cosy. But we would definitely come back to taste the rest of the menu!
