I had two hours to kill at the airport before my flight. Ordered a bottle of wine (£55) and decided to use time to do some work. The battery in my laptop was very low and I wanted to plug it into one of sockets. However, the staff would let me to charge the laptop only if I use their charger - safety measure (!?!). Their charger has an old USB port, whereas my MacBook does not have it and I could not use it. I wanted to use my charger - not possible . They suggested that I plug charger into plugs in the common waiting area (no need for safety there??). Though, I could not take my drink with me - not allowed to take from the bar area. The manager was not around and none of senior staff was not available....
Read moreI would like to say a MASSIVE MASSIVE THANK YOU to carlos Milano for not only his hospitality, kindness and smile but also for looking after me and my girls. We only met for 20 mins but in that short time i met an angel....i forgot my handbag whilst rushing to board my flight only realised once i was on board - i did report it but i had full confidence that carlos would look after me and i was correct carlos made every effort to return my bag safe and even tried to get it to the plane. Sadly the plane had left but he handed it in making it easier for me to get it back can't thank the lovely...

Opened later than stated, at around 7:25, but Winnie’s speed was impressive.
Had the breakfast bagel (31.5). Didn’t expect the ingredients to come separately (thought it would be a sort of sandwich). Maybe it’s better this way, for I can control my cream cheese intake. Nicely toasted crispy bouncy bagel, tasty smoked salmon, soft (but not very creamy, guess it’s healthier) scrambled egg, with a lovely spoonful of caviar.
