The Queen’s Arms — Restaurant in London

It's a great shame the meziane or upstairs seating area is mostly closed now of recent . I used to come regularly to do our forecast logging and have a fish pie and a couple of drinks. It was a nice setting, calm and a pleasure sitting there while I get on with some analysis with a clear head (non alcohol of course). I thought the upstairs was sopposed to be a reserved spirit of the old queens building, public viewing gallery? I asked the staff there, why this new trend of closure had arrisen and was told because its only opened when its busy. That time there was no free seating even around the back. Some American tourist were having trouble finding seats also. If the closure is due to cost saving measures (staff for upstairs bar example) , Just remove the upstairs bar, so that we can enjoy the views and feel like coming back. I have lost interest in returning as its not the same any more and will end up going to pret or somthing!...

Had a meat feast pizza which was nice, also was served by one very pleasant lady called Nicoleta, she made up my frustration that I had with her nice smile and great costumer service attitude and skills, however when I was at the till, was served by Clinton as his name was on my receipt, he was rude, unaproapriate and unprofessional towards me , the way he was talking to me and his body language made me frustrated,I even was going to cancel my order but had to hold my anger and keep calm. This kind of behaviour should not be exhibited from a staff member who works in a place like this that needs it's reputation, No thanks , No please not even a cool body language. But he couod joke and smile to the gentleman who was next to me and tried to break the atmosphere, any way I only have two stars as Nicoleta...

My husband and I stopped there to eat after our flight from Kansas City, Mo. We were tired, but had to wait to check into our AirBnb later in the afternoon. The food and service was fine. After we got checked in at the AirBnb and rested we were going to have dinner. That was when we discovered I had LEFT my purse somewhere. I remembered getting into it while we were at The Flying Chariot. We called the restaurant and to our tremendous relief were told, yes, they had found the purse and it was safe. To the employee who found the purse and his/her supervisor we are forever grateful for their honesty. They saved our vacation. Most of all, reinforced the fact that there are good honest people in the world....
