We had been saying that we needed to go to Roti Brothers ever since we moved to the Crystal Palace area a couple of months ago. We went on Friday and ordered in person rather than on Deliveroo or Uber Eats - it's much cheaper in person and more of the money goes to them which I much prefer! only downside is that they only accept cash but that's not a big problem. We ordered and went to get cash and came back and only had a couple of minute wait which was great.
We ordered the Marinated Buttermilk Buffalo Chicken Burger, the Deviled Dirty Bros burger, a portion of BBQ Wings and rosemary fries.
The chicken burger was crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside with some lovely pesto sauce, salad and pickles - absolutely loved it. The Deviled burger was cooked medium rare which was lovely with some bbq sauce and a small amount of salad - i'm not always the biggest fan of beef burgers but this one i absolutely loved. The chicken wings were sticky, messy, crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside - probably my favourite bit which is saying something!! The chips were good too.
We also got some smoked garlic mayo which I tempted to go back and stock up to have with other meals, it was so good!
We will definitely be going back - it's hard to justify trying anything else on the menu when what we had was so good, but we will try and resist the urge and branch out.
Strongly recommend if you're in the Crystal...
Read moreA review of the Chicken Wrap: 8.5/10
Overall, a really delicious wrap and good size portion. The meat was bursting with flavour, very well seasoned and the red cabbage further enhanced that. The only thing I would like to see is more jalapeños/ chillies, as it was not spicy as advertised.
A review of the halloumi + aubergine Wrap: 6/10
Once again, a good size portion and still very tasty. However, there was far too much cabbage, which made it pretty hard to enjoy the halloumi and aubergine. I think this wrap definitely needed more texture too! Jalapeños, crispy onions etc would have been welcomed.
Rosemary chips: 10/10
To add, the packaging of the wraps wasn’t ideal as the juice/fluids drenched the bottom half of the wrap making the bread very soggy - it was difficult to eat without a proper package too as the wrap would split open when cut in half.
I would definitely eat here again and I would reorder the chicken wrap (maybe not the halloumi). It would be great to see a falafel and halloumi wrap too! I think this would massively help the texture and...
Read moreHad a takeaway from here last Saturday and unfortunately my partner has been suffering from food poisoning ever since.
We had eaten the same things past few days until here, she had beef, myself and other had chicken and we were fine but she got ill a few hours after.
Aside from that thought the food wasn't too bad but wasn't great. Love pesto, love buttermilk chicken but personally didn't think it was a great mix. The bun was nice.
Rosemary chips were decent but overall it was overpriced (like most takeaways today) and lacking quality. Obviously add in the food poisoning and it doesn't make a...
