Delightful Dining at Chakra **Food and Drinks** I visited Chakra cafe in London with my wife for lunch, and we were immediately impressed by the menu. I chose the Medi, a Mediterranean breakfast, while my wife opted for the classic English breakfast. The dishes were delicious and flavorful, and I especially appreciated that all items were halal, including the turkey bacon served with the English breakfast. As for our beverages, I had a decaf mocha with oat milk, and my wife enjoyed a hot chocolate, which came topped with whipped cream and sprinkles of chocolate. **Service** The staff at Chakra were warm and attentive throughout our visit. They made sure our needs were attended to throughout our meal. **Ambience** The main highlight of Chakra is the inviting atmosphere and the tastefully executed interior design. The cafe features a unique fusion of modern and cave-style décor, creating an overall cozy vibe. The charming old-style vases, baskets, and various other decorations add to the pleasant aesthetic. **Music** During our visit to Chakra, we noticed the background music - slow Turkish pop. While it might not be everyone's preferred choice, it added a unique touch to the overall ambience and contributed to the distinctive dining experience. **Pricing** Our total bill came to a reasonable £39, which we felt was appropriate given the quality of food, beverages, and service. **Laptop-Friendliness** Although we noticed a few power plugs in the cafe, we can't confirm if Chakra is laptop-friendly or not. This might be a consideration for those planning on working or studying during their visit. **Conclusion** Chakra is a delightful cafe offering a lovely atmosphere, tasty food, and attentive service. The unique fusion décor and overall ambience make it an excellent spot for a lunch date or a relaxed meal with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will certainly visit again.

Short summary: Overhyped, Great Decor, Below average quality. So on google it said they open at 8.30. Turned up at 9.05 and on the door it said 8am. Didn’t get in till 9.45! Had to call and have someone tell me they were running late to open up. When what looked like the owner turning up, the response was ‘You guys waiting to come in? Traffics crazy today’ Not an apology and guess what I don’t care about the traffic. Esp when I’m paying £50+ for breakfast for 2. You set the standards and so we expect… Food, Loved the concept however the quality was below average, Sucuk and cold meats could have been better quality, also the cheddar cheese was very poor. Egg was perfect though! Place is really nicely decorated and has potential, I only tried the platter so only judging by their showstopper. I didn’t see the 12.5% service charge until after i paid and on the receipt, bit cheeky as it’s not mentioned on food menu, also the fact I was made to wait outside for staff lateness was pretty lame in todays fierce competition. Due to this 1 incident and not managing it properly. I won’t be coming back, thanks though!

Loved this new authentic spot in Green Lanes! We ordered 2x ‘Serpme breakfast’ with some extras and we all really enjoyed the incredible interior design, calm atmosphere and the delicious food all the way to the faultless customer service. I found their prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service they offer. The staff were so friendly and pleasant, our food came really quick and it all tasted amazing! They offer a rich menu which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner- wine/drinks. I would certainly recommend their special breakfast sauce, their Mihlama, as well as their lovely dessert ‘Chitax’. It was a light, tasty and unique dessert. I personally loved their presentation of food, how clean it was in there and also how welcome we were made to feel. There is parking on residential side roads located very close to the Cafe and it is very accessible, also located just by a bus stop. I loved the details down to seating and choice of ceramics. Will certainly be returning and strongly recommend this spot to everyone!

I had a less-than-stellar experience at this place, and let me tell you, it had all the makings of a thriller, with an unexpected plot twist at the end. Initially, the ambiance seemed as fine as a Hollywood set, and the place looked about as good as any backdrop in a rom-com.

But here's where the plot thickens - when it came time to settle the bill, the waiter and manager dropped a bombshell: "We only accept cash." Now, if they had given me a heads-up, I might have brought a wheelbarrow of cash and helped them evade taxes like a modern-day Robin Hood. BANG!!!, they left me in the dark until the eleventh hour. They eventually agreed to my card payment but insisted I approach the counter like I was participating in some covert operation to avoid detection by other diners.

To add a sprinkle of irony, they skipped the part where they usually ask, "Would you like to split the bill?" Instead, they executed the payment with military precision. I get it, this maneuver might fly at a kebab shop, but for a place trying to build its reputation, you'd think they'd put service in the spotlight.

All in all, the food was just okay, but the entire experience was a rollercoaster of emotions and a masterclass in suspense – the kind you'd expect in a thriller movie, not a restaurant visit. Sort it out Chakra, and stop this cash only Weekend shenanigans to avoid...

Please read this especially if you’re planning to go here with an elderly person or babies/children. This place is a health hazard, please check the chairs before you sit on it as mine snapped and I fell to the ground. I had my hands on my pushchair and I am so lucky that I didn’t drag the pushchair down with me. No one from the managing team bothered to come over to apologise despite seeing the waiter informing them of what had happened. I had to physically go to them to explain to them that this could’ve been so much worse. There were portable heater wires everywhere on the floor just waiting for someone to trip over them - just a mess really. Nothing can compensate or is more important than safety but I didn’t get any form of incentive or gesture from them to show that they were truly sorry that this happened in their premises. People are more likely to return if they feel valued and appreciated as customers and unfortunately this wasn’t the experience I had. Now, in terms of the food I can only say that compared to when I visited Chakra when it first opened vs now the taste and even the portion size has reduced. We ordered the Turkish breakfast platter and it didn’t include the tropical colour olives as it did before and the eggs were...
