Had high hopes going here. Tried kunefe, sutlac, and another dessert stuffed with kaymak and pistachio. Unfortunately, nothing was really special. The ice cream, however, was really nice. In my opinion, the fruit was unnecessary, and we felt bad leaving it because we were simply too full to eat it. The kunefe could be cheesier and more buttery. It would also be better to serve the filo kaymak and pistachio dessert with ice cream, as it's too rich on its own. Sultac rice could be more tender. The music was lagging when we were there, but none of the staff seemed to notice. People don't just go out for food; they want the whole experience, and music is important. The place is nice and new, but I suggest the staff wear something other than their everyday t-shirts to create a more professional look.
Also at the moment there was no menu available to see what's available and what are the prices for kunefe etc. which is...
Read moreI recently visited Nizipli Baklava and Keks Cookies, and I couldn’t be more pleased! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a sweet treat. The selection of cakes and baklava is impressive, and I was thrilled to find everything quite fresh.
One of my favorite aspects was the beautifully decorated small cakes, which are not only a feast for the eyes but also incredibly delicious. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations.
What truly sets this place apart is the addition of traditional Turkish music, which creates a unique and enjoyable dining experience right in the heart of London. It’s wonderful to have a taste of Turkish culture through their delightful pastries and warm ambiance.
I highly recommend Nizipli Baklava and Keks Cookies to anyone looking for a delicious treat and a lovely atmosphere. I can’t...
Read moreBy far the best place to have Turkish desserts in London despite this being my first visit. I totally agree with the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating.
Kunefe was small in size but really delicious & portion definitely enough for one person. It’s the best thing we had today.
We also tried the dry baklava with pistachio and it was really good. The milk cake covered with a thick layer of pistachio is definitely tasty and worth trying.
Interestingly the order includes side dishes (free) including high quality fresh pistachio, small portions off grapes, banana and strawberries. As a drink you get also milk to help balance the sweetness of the desserts and Sirup. We ordered also two teas snd again brewed properly. Overall they have introduced the Turkish style of serving desserts in their shop.
Also great ambiance, very clean and tidy, and most importantly very friendly and attentive staff members. Price...
